Hi. I will get a T300 in a few days to replace my T500RS which is broken. I know how to configure it, knowing the T500RS well and having learned about the internet. Nevertheless I would like to confirm the value of "Steering Torque Minimum" (FFB minimum force) that I found on the internet : On this thread, a person suggests 3%, and on a post found elsewhere on the internet a person suggests 2.5%. What do you recommend ? This is the only parameter I may not know how to correctly set when I receive the T300. I wish I could enjoy it optimally from the first minutes. Thank you.
I used to use a little program called wheel check, which tells you the minimum force required,it used to give me 2% but now it says 0% So I just go between the two depending on the car Some say to turn it up until the wheel starts to shake while you’re in the garage, then back it off one or two clicks,I’m not a fan of that though as to me it hides info
not sure if we can trust wheel check.... this program always give me a different value from 8% to 22% it gives any value you can imagine and every time its different and never the same
Thrustmaster T150 here i m sure i m doing nothing wrong trying to calculate how much is the minimum FFB torgue always give a different percentage always
What are your recommendations regarding the "steering torque minimum" for RF2 for a T300 ? Thank you.
I would need to verify it but it was 1-2% difference on my G27 (16-17%) and the same on T300 IIRC. Edit: To clarify, now I have T300 and min. force measured by wheelcheck is 2%
@DrivingFast Just revisited this thread and saw your post. Not sure what you mean by this setting - could you clarify?
T300 settings here, no clip and smooth. Thrustmaster profile: keep as default, force 75 all forces 100 including spring and damper. Rfactor 2 settings: Force 74% smothness 0% min force 0%
