I'm almost sure that's not what they said, they dont share some tracks because it's exclusive for their leagues
When we published the first versions of the RaceRfactor trackpack there was a lot of fuss, we even received disrespect, so we decided not publish more "unauthorized" tracks. They refer to that. The "legal" tracks will continue to be updated... and maybe something new will come sometime from my part.
i´m sure about what i said. what you are saying @Will Mazeo should be another reason. My point it is just asking or then to, please, reconsider. My idea was to open a thread to do that, but to avoid this kind of discussion, i decided just to ask to reconsider, whatever reasons they had, without pushing then to give an answer, just to think about it.
Ohh man, that's a real shame. I hate all this whining about "legal" and "illegal" tracks. Don't like it? shut up and move on. Well if it means anything, Racerfactor tracks are amongst the ones I have more milage on. In fact I raced Monza today with the URD LMP1's and the Endurance pack. Don't listen to the haters, they will always exist sadly and we all lose because of them.
@McNolo I think he meant the texture this is also my only small negative point of your nice track. I think if you would put different grass and mud texture (more colorful/green), like the textures Digga uses in many tracks, the overall look of the track would be even nicer but anayway, thanks for your work!
@McNolo stupidity will allways be present, as a moderator of "Sim Racers" page i have to deal with that from time to time, just get over it and ignore the stupid people, guess we all deserve to enjoy your awesome work! Thank you!
Spent a great evening at Monza last night. Thank you so much for updating, really appreciated. Also loved the Montreal update. So looking at the list of RaceRfactor tracks I have installed I'm praying for an update to Spa next .
Problem i reported earlier was on my side @McNolo sorry for the confusion. Love the work you did on this one....thanks again
It's complicated... I'm a modder too and I created some tracks for rF2, some people like them as we have few content tracks for formula E and I was working on 4 tracks with 2 already released. One of this already released was criticised by a guy that enter in my private messages and chat with disrespect words just because the track wasn't as he think it should be.... I removed this and another tracks, stopped creating contents for comunity and just make tracks for personal use and for fun. Because of some idiots the whole comunity looses sometimes.
I'm really, really, really hoping for more of your high quality tracks, Monza is AWESOME, simply AWESOME! There are another F1 tracks (from RaceRfactor) avaliable to download?
Exactly, so you prevented 99,999% of people enjoying your work for one asshole, that shouldn't happen, just ignore those stupid people, some guys doesn't even know what they're talking about, or are fanboys of other titles. At least i think you should publish your mods, i'm sure most people will be thankful for your work
I let one of them in workshop, but lost interest in create more... just the finished track remains, the WIP I removed. Some people still don't understand what means WIP. I understand and admire who can just ignore, I cannot :/ I understand too when he says he 'decided not publish more "unauthorized" tracks' because sometimes is hard see this kind of reactions...
