    At the Nordschleife with its hundrets of different surfaces it would look very realistic ;)

    Tested yesterday more weather conditions to figure out the performance. The problem occurs in every scenario when "storm" is included. The fps goes down on 15-35 fps. But when it rains the fps is much better around 45-55 fps. Not perfect for Sim-Racing but at least I can have fun with it and it's ok (always using the recommended Settings for Mid-End PCs).

    I've heard every single raindrop will be calculated and it depends on forces of gravity...whether the drops are running down the windscreen or not e.g.. Don't know if this is true. If this is true I think the level of detail is awesome. But is there any benefit to the function of the game this, let me say real-time raindrop calculations, could be?

    rFactor is to be rebranded as soon as the new UI is ready.
    Apparently the new style of sim will have a bigger user base than sim racing ever has had.
    rFactor will be known as rainFactor. They think it will be a huge hit around the UK. :D

    I just tried heavy rain in VR (Silverstone 1.86 / Radical 2.00) and my frame rate went from a solid 90 to single figures with flashing that looks likely to cause a fit. I've raced in the rain in the past with no problems though I haven't tried this exact scenario.

    After the recent patch I noticed a significant increase in FPS at bugatti at the start finish line in the rift. Like near 90 FPS, where before I was getting 45 with asw kicking in. Nice work gentlemen (and ladies?)

    Something wierd, the wheel and brakes seems more visible on the darker side. I don't remember if it's a new problem, just found it when i was editing the wheel dds.

    The last patches are really appreciated, on ideal conditions, during a dry day, the performance is perfect now with my potato. It runs @90 fps, I only have to be shy with AF and AA (4/2), else high settings except shadows and raindrops on middle.
    In this regard rF2 is on par with the competition now, thumbs up!
    During night and rain I see even top systems struggling to get 40 fps, so I’m on par with that. LOL, I can save lotsa money.
    Jokes aside, Studio397 needs to have a look here.

    So many thanks Studio397, a great leap forwards.

    No, he doesn't. Certain tracks actually have 2 hundreds or more textures.
