I'm getting SERIOUS glare in rear view mirrors in multiple cars at multiple tracks. EVGA 1080ti, latest drivers. Happens in VR, too. https://www.dropbox.com/s/af7ilpssw16v7bt/rfactor2brightlight.jpg?dl=0
If both the car and track have been updated for DX11 I would delete the contents of the CBash and Shaders folders. Those two folders are found here: Steam\steamapps\common\rFactor 2\UserData\Log\
Deleted all content in CBash and Shaders, restarted, but still getting same thing. Tried all 5 levels of AA and no AA with and without FXAA turned on and with and without Aggressive Threading turned on. Thanks for your help, ADSTA, but it looks like I'm stuck with waiting on an update that may or may not fix it. That sucks, because I really love RF2.
WAIT...HOLD IT....just did the "verify integrity of game files" and it found 12 files (wouldn't tell me which particular ones) that needed re-downloading. All good now...thank you Coutie and ADSTA for your help!
Apparently, "verify integrity of game files" has become the new "reboot it." Just did the same with another game.
That might come in handy in the future , how do u do that and do u lose your settings? although i already have a player.json backup
Right click rFactor 2 in your Steam library. Properties Local Files Verify Integrity of Game Files. It will do it's scan and auto download and install anything it finds missing.
