Since it is bug report time, I have one too Since the first release there is the Filter issue with the GTC : the car appears in the Vehicle Selection screen in spite of being excluded by the Server Filters. Now, there is the same issue with the LMP3. Not a big problem, but quite confusing for the drivers. Whenever you find the time to look at it, Cheers !
I don't know if it's me, but even with tyre pressures cranked I can't keep heat in the wets in the GTEs.
Very nice mode, thank you. Strangely I get better fps with this mod when setting antialiasing to 5 then antialiasing to 3. No fps gain with official content.
Thanks guys, the cars look amazing. Just a request: Can you look at the lights at night when driving. I think they are a bit to weak in cockpit view. Just a tiny bit more illumination please.
Great mod, one of my favourites. Just done forty laps around Rouen in one of the Ligiers. Bit disappointed the Lola was dropped though. With this in mind I thought I would try installing version 1.5 and version 2 together. It worked brilliantly got the Lola both Ferraris and both Corvettes but without the wiper and rain effects on Version 1.5 cars. Also any virtual drivers also worked if left installed. This will only work if you have downloaded both versions from the Enduracers site. If installed from Steam, version 2 will over write version 1.5, so unsubscribe from Steam and install manually. That's one disadvantage of using Steam for downloads it overwrites with the latest version even though you may not want it to. It also removes mods if there not on Steam any more, I lost two cars that I quite enjoyed driving. Hope this is of use to some you.
The tires physics (and not only) are different now between the 1.5 and the 2.0, so I think it's not a good idea to mix the two versions.
Massive improvement in car handling. Great job.I had previously uninstalled this mod several times but this version is very much improved. The only gripe I have is a lack of front tire feel in the ffb. The ffb is improved though, ad it was probably one of the worst mods for that previously. Car inputs seem believable but the feedback could use a tweak. Thanks guys!
One thing I've noticed with more driving is the left hand drive P2's wipers don't clear as much water as they 'should' the RHD ones are fine though.
I love this track. No need to say anything about the cars...it already says EnduRacers! Please read the description below the video. I know it's long. There are a lot of cars to be tested.
Firstly a big thankyou to @klo-che and his team for a huge release. I was a fan of the flat 6 in this mod and in real life. So far in this new release I have driven the 911 RSR and the LMP2 Oreca. The second one I am testing for a 24 Hours of Le Mans in June with the AOR community so have done a few more laps. Hence ny feedback... Tyre wear: I feel it might be too little. On the soft tyre using fuel and tyre wear x2 I ran 2 tanks of fuel (14 laps actual or 28 laps effect) and the worst tyre was 89%. Thats less than 0.25% wear per lap at LeMans. That translates to running 5 or 6 hours on one set of softs. I am not an expert at modding tyres but had a look at the details in Carstat2 and it looks like it might be related to thermal deg. It shows as a flat line at 100% performance. Normally higher temps show more wear. BTW The V1 wear data was much greater. Say 71-80% after ONE tank of fuel. Thanks again for a great mod, just wanted to let you know as tyre wear is important for a high fidelity endurance race.
I also have old cars in addition to new ones, Wich is nice but they have older physics I.e. don’t have CPM2 tires as all new cars
massive props to these guys, what a content packed mod. and visually possibly the best in RF2 including vanilla cars. THe ffb and handling i just don't feel as edgy or as nuanced as the s397 gt cars. (still better than most of the other so called sims however!) There possibly could be a reason for that i dunno. Having ran a few races with Ai at indy, i can confirm they do spin out a lot. But great mod, and for being free in a day where modders want to be paid, well that goes a long way in my book. THey could of easily charged RSS prices here! Much improved over past versions of this mod!
There is some aspect we continue to dig on the mod to continue the improvements. The main axis was to solve the issue on steering wheel feeling of the 1.5 version and the integration of CPM/CPM2, this part have now a base and reading the feedback, this is a good step in the right direction. We think the P3/P2 are not where we wanted to put them, but with the short delay due to the CPM2 integration/understanding we made a choice, that's this first choice we froze for this version. For the issue on GTE, the new Build is the trigger of that, in addition of a choice on the AI tires that was compliant with previous rF2 build, but too sharp for the new one So we work on this, we think we found how to improve this, but we prefer push the tests more on many tracks/situations to be sure the issue is solved before delivering a partial fix on that. So we continue to work, now the new base seems to be Ok, we work on the "details now" to improve and fine tune for a new release one day.
Thank you for all your hard work. I am not also sure if you're aware but the sounds are messed up on new build. you can't hear engine sounds correctly, only pops and backs when in cockpit for all other external calls.I suspect this is because of the new "dampening" feature they added
