Its always funny to read how many here Will buy DLC to support the company. Not because they look forward to amazing DLC they simple Cannot live without. I didnt realize this was a charity program. If they want to sell big they need to make DLC that is MUCH better than the half finished GT3 pack. You Can only survive so long on charity.

Or maybe we are happy with what we had , have and with confidence will have. I bought the Fe cars did one lap and will never use again , I’m fortunate enough to not miss a couple of bucks here and there for the enjoyment l get now and into the future. Each to their own

I agree with who ever said that the oval aspect of this sim needs to be looked at,there is a big oval crowd out there,that are not happy with the physics and tyre model that the opposition is offering,many multi page threads on their forum and no fix in sight,only band aids in the for of setup tweaks that are so far from realistic it’s laughable.
I don’t oval race personally but there’s a big opportunity for s397 with the oval side of things,I hope they realise this as it could bring in 1000s of new or returning members if the oval side was ironed out

 

+1, I think most of us did, which is why I think there won't be more FE tracks, and I'm fine with that. Formula E has potential to be a competition platform like for the 200k dollar Vegas event which Bono Huis won. But as a random DLC, it will always be far behind in sales and interest.

 

I removed some dust from the FE and tried it at limerock will all chicanes layout. I think it can make an interesting experience with some setup tweaks, I don't think it's wasted money, I just expected some more track to come.

 

Seeing as it's an official license I hardly think Studio397 will throw it in the bin and cancel all future tracks, there's plenty more to come for this pack yet.

Is the sim being used as marketing tool. Soon (if they do not already) they will begin to give guesses in the maneuverability of the car if people start to complain about difficult

Sebring sounds fun though. Different track to what I expected but hey, it's flat and you've got to start somewhere.

And it'll be more up to date than iRacing's XD

hello I'm going to give my little opinion, very little in rf2 since I was active for the vr,
I come from another simulator that great people know that is paid every month or every year,

I am very happy with rf2 the work they are doing, they are working hard and they have many things to improve by their position but it also has different sections and I think it is not easy,
the content in the form of dlc I think is the most logical because if not the work they do as they pay,
Do all the simulators make dlc annual payments or monthly car payments tracks so that rf2 can not do it?

if you really want this to go ahead I think we all have to support

I think the first ones that want this to go ahead and be the best simulator is studio 397,

I speak from the short time I have been in this simulator

 

Guys, if the visual track is the same as the physical representation how would the point data work?
A Kart in RF2 sits over like 8 triangles.
Im a total noob and I cant even begin to imagine how it would work.

 

For lienz there is no laser scanning necessary. Would be great if we could have this great track.

 

Do we have an approximate cost of Sebring?

 

Take the amount you'd expect, multiply by 2, substract one euro, and you have your price.

In my local community it's already a running joke that S397 will miss their deadline at least with half a year.
