Legend! Thanks so much for this! This is my test track for some iconic 1980s machinery EDIT: Forgot to mention the person who originally did the work to convert this track who shall remain unamed for obvious reasons!
Thanks for the update Philrob! Much appreciated! If possible, could you have a look at the AIW? The AI take strange lines through most of the turns (They seem to go wide in most corners, Graham Hill Bend in particular) Many thanks!
Agree, I just ran a race with the GT3 pack and the cars were constantly taking a very wide entry form Paddock Hill Bend causing them to go off down Hailwoods Hill. Also found them a little slow round Westfield, Sheen Curve & Stirlings (AI@100). Otherwise, thank you for updating one of my favourite tracks of all time!
I just rewatched my vid , i show the settings at the end , i just dont go out of the game to show PP but it is always at Medium .
Thx to KUNOS First and thx for the updates but can you changes the name of the track in the GDB for not having trouble with old version (exemple: Brands GP V0.78) cause i have already two others version of the ACBrands V0.74 (DX9) and V1.0 (DX11) and it won't works well together in the track menu .. your version won't appears
ive seen a track, estoril ported inversely and the rf2 militia took it down from RD, the sacrilege... funny to see a Rip from AC on the official RF2 Forum and the thread is still alive
I thought it was 'sourced from elsewhere'. I was testing at BH the other night in AC and I'd recognise the exit of Graham Hill bend and the 'brake' markers anywhere.
Problem with the AI guys is the editor doesnt work anymore , so for now we are stuck.I will change the name of the track to fix the not loading.
The building to the left of the start finish line glows a bit much with PP effects! Is this as intended? I don't recall it like that in the previous version.
I created AI wisdom files for Mosport the other day. It SEEMED to improve them significantly. Are you talking about something different?
Jerry, Yes i am talking about the AIW editor built into RF2 in which you create the racing lines and pit positions.
I’m talking about the ai learning process. You set the learning parameter in one of the JSON files, then let the ai race around the track for a few hundred laps. At the end, they generally drive much better. Sometimes too good. Creates .wis files in each ai directory. It depends on having an ‘alright’ AIW file to start with it they tend to crash and not learn. There is a post somewhere here that discusses it...I’m on mobile atm and can’t find. Jerry You need to do this for each car and track combo that struggles.
That's because all AC users are saints and rFactor 2 users are only criminals. Especialy the rF2 devs, who dare to not read every forum thread. But seriously, if you make a polite request, I am sure that this thread will be closed immediately, as it was done before with similar posts. What happens on RD is a completely different topic and I am sure that you will still find rips from other games there no matter the platform. Happy hunting
