Im a triple screen user and was trying to lower my res from 5860x1080 to 3097x960 (which i believe is 720p) to achieve more fps to raise antialiasing and all fancy effects but, like title says, im getting less fps than with higher resolution.
No changes in graphics settings was made and in in game graphic settings all the same (60hz, multiview, same antialiasing, post effects)
So, how is that possible if i´m not missing nything?

    720p is 1280x720, so for triples 3840x720

Thanks. 3097 is bezel corrected. But this is odd, here in nvidia control panel it says that th no bezel correct resolution is 3840X960
Bezel corrected, like i said, would be 3097X960.
Any guess why am i getting this res? And even then, should not I be having a better score on fps?

CPU and GPU? This happens with most of the games when your CPU is bottlenecking your GPU.

cpu is i74790k and gpu 980ti (but i did not overclock anything - unless the "sc - superclocked" on gpu already means overclocked). I think I should get at least the same fps count if it was bottlenecking stuff. The difference was about 10-15 fps more for high res

Well in this case you should not have any bottleneck so yes, it's strange o_O Do you have any apps to check the cpu and gpu load? MSI afterburner for example.

I use evga precision and gpu load i see when hit crtl+f in game
I will download msi afterburner and try it

ps: im reading some tutorial rom MSI afterburner and it seems it does the same thing of evga precision
ps2: the fps feature of rf2 has a way to record the perfomance log. But where or who can analyze the log?
