I wonder if in the next layout of the simulator you intend to put the option of creating offline championships? I think it would be an interesting option because of the excellent quality of artificial intelligence. Hug.
I was about to create a thread on this subject and I seen this one. Glad to hear that it's coming very soon. Is any info on any of the roadmaps? I would love some options to choose your cars/opponents, track list, and point scoring system, instead of having a set list like rF1 had.
I admire your optimism. Seem to be lot's of expert game programmers use rF2 because I read plenty of comments about how "it shouldn't take this long" and so and so sim has done this in this amount of time, it's only a UI, blah blah blah
Obviously it isn't "Only a UI", by very soon I mean in the next couple of months (2-3 maybe). At least, that's how long I'm expecting it to take... I know programming is draining and time consuming, I've dabbled in such things myself. And Studio-397 isn't a big studio. Even menu's have to lead to lots of code, code which needs to be re-sorted accordingly and some new things added in.
I got tired of waiting long ago and started using Log Analizer Championship Mgr. more seriously. I create the champ in LA and a supporting event series in rf2 to ensure same cars race each round, works like charm... yeah no fancy graphics or celebrations console style, just racing and accurate points tracking, easy to configure, I recommend it.
I need to look into this thank you for sharing. I'd very much like to see an offline championship, or one day maybe even a career mode. Is it possible to have a career mod?
Offline championship and two colors for yhe built in best lap app: - Green when you are driving better than your last lap = Pink, Red when you are driving better than your best lap of the session
It's good that the "offline championship" feature is implemented. On the other hand it only makes sense if the AI is really "realistic" (in quotation marks). I do not play other sim / simcade, so I have no points of comparison, but I do not find the RF2 AI is brilliant. My wish is that it be improved this year. This is not the number one priority for RF2, but it is worth considering.
