    Theres 2 "filters" he is talking about.
    Theres the one you see on the controller menu and should be kept at zero.
    The other "filter" (between quotes) is in the tyre model and doesnt theoretically destroy any information that you should feel.
    The spikes he is talking are in the tyre model. He is not talking about FFB clipping.

    Doesn't feel real. Need muh realism bro! Won't accept air particle meshes smaller than 5 microns.

    From what I understood from that devpost there are two important decisions to be balanced against each other wich are smoothing out the spikes in the TM or adding latency. Adding latency isn't desireable either, especialy in racing sims so from my understanding there doesn't seem to be a right or wrong in that regard for simdevs. It is just a matter of how the priorities are set and what you want to compromise. :)
