CS-closed Hotlap Competition - Radical SR3 Atlanta!

There is no need spend any time to replays if the track limits(cut lines) are done proper. I believe that many of us was following WFG events in Silverstone and remember cuts in Copse, Maggots, Becketts and Stowe which in my mind made WGF event in Silverstone to look ridiculous.
Perhaps S397 can use WGF event and some of posts (pics) as bug rapport and spend some time also to track limits when new tracks are released just get rid of everlasting discussion about track limits.

 

Imho we should have some kind of advanced timing system. Laps for rankings should be clean, but in the race things might happen and the system often has false positives.

I,m with you on this one, 1.19.09 is about the limit for this old bloke. I can see where there is a little more time but not 5.5 seconds, not for me anyway.
Had a bit of fun trying though and adjusted the setup a bit. Good learning curve.

 

events like these are welcome
if they add fixed setup then it will be rookie friendly

A couple of questions regarding the Results leaderboards;

1. When you view the Results (not Competition) without having signed into Steam, it only lists the Top 57 drivers. It would be nice if the listing showed all the drivers on the results section.
2. Are there any plans to have more information displayed on the leaderboards (e.g. sector times, whether ABS or TC was used, default set up or tuned).

 

There is 2 servers on the multiplayer list, instance 0 & instance 1 who works with password.
I think it's the competition server,possible to have the password ? Maybe that will be ok for those who have the same message than me?

I don't think it has anything to do with poor attention given, it may simply be a matter if you count curbs as part of track or not. These were the rules used in WFG event and I was happy they were. When the curb is allowed as part of the track it allows drivers at least some level of risk taking and aggression without being constantly afraid of going minimally wide. For example at exit of Copse, the way F1 tried to police it before they gave up, drivers would end up cutting accidentally every second quali hot lap. You can re-watch F1 Silverstone 2016 qualifying to see that this was a total farce. What's more, rF2 only allows two cuts in the entire race before the first penalty is given, so the tolerances simply can't be too tight if you want drivers to follow the rules for 70 laps with only two mistakes allowed.

What are you trying to explain me? Do you think that if it was just a kerb kerb issue I would have commented? I make tracks and none of them have the issues I refer to. The fact that the track limits had to be reviewed during WFG for Silverstone and now this is quite representative unless you dont want to realize.

C'est un coup sur 10 pour moi avec mon oculus et quand ça fonctionne c'est mon DD qui n'a plus de FFB.
J'ai passé 3/4 de mon temps à galérer pour que mon matos fonctionne et le reste à rouler,c'est maigre...
