I don't think there's a left/right seat adjustment. If you select 'free move' you can place the virtual camera wherever you want, but you'll have to do it every time you go back to the garage which gets tiresome.
Some cars come with left and right hand drive option when choosing your car. At least the radical anyway. I believe they are trying to make it as legit as possible.
+1 I live in a right hand drive country, so lefthand drive (LHD) is very hard to get used to, so much so that I just don't drive LHD cars unless it from the TV view. If left-right seat position was available I'd go back to behind the wheel (sore'd-kinda) SS
I was the opposite back in the day. Being from a Left hand drive country, I would be fascinated by the right hand drive perspective. Now it makes very little difference.
I think you guys are misunderstanding my question. The seat/driving position can be moved up & down, forward & back, but not left & right. I don't wish to move it to the other side of the car.
I would guess to avoid the loss of view to the side of the windshield. It is really disturbing if you have no VR where you can tilt your head to compensate.
It's actually to get a better view in the rear view mirror. On some cars the mirror cant be moved far enough.
Have you tried this: Alt+Shift + seat left/right physically moves the centre mirror up and down. Alt+Shift + seat forward/back physically moves the centre mirror left and right
That doesn't work on this particular car. Basically need more range in the centre mirror adjustment. If I move the seat right back it improves the mirror, but the driving position is then too far back. In the past I have used a Trackir & have overcome this problem by moving my head to one side & centering the Trackir.
After a PC crash (failing Win10Pro update for the second time in a few months) and re-installing, I totally forgot how to move the seat left or right (since the steering wheel/dash in some cars is way off center. Up/down/fore /aft is no problem, mirror settings work fine. I think there is no shortcut (could not find it anyway), but there was a way to change the files, no ?
