Just got an RF2 Update, any infos about ?

 

Latest update changelog:
- Improved new windscreen shader
- Fixed issues with windscreen clearing

 

I was already subscribed to everything, I just got an rF2 update and it seems that the all missing content is back in the game although a bit messed up (Zandvoort on top of the list, Alabama Speedway at the bottom). And older replays still don't work, it says mod content is missing even though content is installed and I've used it after the update (Silverstone & GT500).

 

Is there a way to unsubscribe everything at once ?

 

Got my Rift back (well a new one) and fired up VR for a proper taste of the Rain update, the effects are great in cockpit. Using the headphones really brings the sound to life, not just generally but the raindrops sound made it feel like it as raining. The new lighting system is simply superb, really brings a sense of atmosphere and reality to the tracks that was lacking before but not in a totally bad way.

I need to readjust my settings for VR as it was a bit laggy but 'first' impressions are very very good, thanks S397.

 

in the corvette c6 there is no rain on the windshield, and I do not know if the dx11 works well with the corvette

 

Full list of cars and tracks with implemented rain features in first post. Make sure that you have last version for C6 is v1.93

this is all correct the water does not work on the windshield, if the windshield wiper works, but the water does not reach the glass

Tried again S397 C6R 1.93 on S397 Silverstone 1.84.
I can't see any water on the track (not looking for puddles), just spray when following cars as before, the road is not shinier. Doesn't look at all as the previews shown with the Bentley GT3, doesn't look at all as a wet road.
Do you see water on the track?

Am I doing something wrong?
Solved Road reflections were off to try to minimize display freezes with previous versions of DX11.

it wont be fully wet when you start you need to let it build up// Shame they cant have it fully soaked when you start a session. But ive seen puddles build up in the lime rock paddock around kerbs and stuff its pretty cool really. Hope they include aquaplaning - but not so extreme as PC2.
