    Ok, so far so good.
Downloaded the content and placed it on my server in packages
Created the ServerUnlock.bin on my other computer and placed it in the right folder.
Started the modmgr and only see v100 and not v101
Select the mod en click on install.
It is starting but at the end it's not installed.

    Any suggestions?

    Found it....
When you start ModMgr, on top you see the version and behind that there should be "Keys Loaded".
    if not, update your modmgr.
I use multiple server installations and use the ModMgr from a server that wasn't using the latest version.

After solving this, creating a server with the McLaren was easy.

Thank you. Sorted out. It was the steam that was open.

Ok, I created the Serverkeys.bin and ServerUnlock.bin and have put them in the right place .
But,according the dedicated-server setting up guide, "S:\Temp>steamcmd.exe +login USERNAME PASSWORD +workshop_download_item 365960 505225177 +quit" ,I am assumed that this cmd line is used for download workshop item but not for paid-contents.
So,how can I download the paid-content to my server?
    Thanks.

You can either upload the rfcmps manually from your local harddrive to your server, or use SteamCMD above that you mentioned, that should also work.

For example ,I wanna download the latest DLC FE and HK track .I cant find the DLC's download-id from its steam URL which is like this "http://store.steampowered.com/itemstore/365960/detail/6/".
So the only way is manually upload the rfcmps .

    Still complicated.
I mean I try to follow the guide, but as far as this point
    "Run the following command: steamcmd +login anonymous +force_install_dir ../rFactor2-Dedicated +app_update 400300 +quit"

I got this "Command not found: steamcmd".

Any idea how what I might do wrong ?

Thanks for asking Christopher, if you read my post, you'll see that I've made a copy/past of the part of the guide where I'm stuck because it doesn't do as it should.

You need to make sure when you execute that command that you are in the right folder in Command Prompt (where SteamCMD.exe is located)

Pretty sure it's ok for that because it added a lot of steam stuff in the folder.

    This ^^
Did you first type in terminal
    cd C:\SteamCMD

    then

    steamcmd +login anonymous +force_install_dir ../rFactor2-Dedicated +app_update 400300 +quit

Well, I choose to not put it on C:\, so no i did not type that in the terminal because that would be wrong.

When I type the SteamCMD with the right adress, it's ok, it's the command after that doesn't work, as said before.

Do you see steamcmd.exe in your SteamCMD folder?

You mean the folder that is called racing in the guide but we can call it whatever we want right ?
If you're talking about this one, yes, I got it and also a lot of folders & files Steam related.

This looks like either: you're not pointing to the right folder or it can't find steamcmd.exe in that folder.
PM me if you like with the full paths and I'll check it for you.

I am trying to setup a remote server and I can't seem to get the server to install the GT Pack. I have followed the instructions to acquire the ServerUnlock.bin. I placed it in the new server. The Mod manager simply refuses to install the cars. I am trying to instal the mod on a Virtual Private Server (VPS) using windows server 2012 if that makes any difference.

I figured it out. I had the Working Dir: in the Mod Manager set to C:\rfactor 2-dedicated\Bin32 instead of just C:\rfactor 2-dedicated. Once I made that change it saw the UnlockServer.bin file and allowed me to install the cars. Thanks to those who helped me on Discord.
