    Well TBH it took me quite a while to get settings I am finally happy with. I went through all sorts of settings from insanly fast and resposnsive but to violent to very very rubbery and slugish etc. At the end I checked all the base preconfigurations from 397/ISI for all the different FFB wheels and I noticed that all of them have some common entries FFB related. I applied those to my controller file and BAM went from months of frustrations to instahappy. :D No additional filters/damping used in MMos or in the game.

    @SimonJ do you have ffb cutoffs in rF2 with Simucube firmware? Because i do :( and i can't get it sorted what is going on. I just randomly loose ffb and only way to get it back is close the game and restart. Reset ffb doesn't do the job for my problem.

    Edit: using 0.83 atm

    Modified t500 json. But it always worked without problems using mmos. Thanks for your settings i gonna try them tonight and see if it helps.

    I still have to figure out if it is firmware or setting or maybe even hardware.....*sigh*

    No json isn't the problem. Also.asked s397 if json could cut off ffb and answer is no.
    But i have almost pinpointed it down.

    Since june 2016 i have my simucube and i have always had the 2 usb's connected to my pc and this was never a problem.
    And now with this FW i do have cut offs.
    when i diconnect the dfu usb i don't get cut offs anymore.
    So my conclusion now is:
    1. The firmware does something unexpected
    2. My psu isn't stable enough anymore cutting off 5v
    So to test i just bought a new psu (be silent 700Watt) and gonna test again tonight.

    Once sure what caused/causes it i will report at Granite forum so Mika knows

    Thanks for your intrest and sorry for the long write up.

    You only need 1 usb connected to SimuCube for running the other granity one is not required even for updates now all done via new firmware App on same usb cable
    if that fixes it just use the one USB cable i have never even plugged 2nd USB cable in :)

    Jaja i know but it is super handy to check the granity tabs if there where faults. Never used again after first 2 months of use. But that isn't the point.

    Yep but don't have both connected when playing they changed it so you can do allot update Firmware and alike via SimuCube and not needing to use Granity

    Having them both connected has never been an issue, and that is my point.
    Or this firmware doesn't allow you, which is no problem but good to know. Or and i think that is my problem....my psu is dying on me hence that is why i bought a new one

    Yep not sure see how it goes with 1 cable if you get no problems would stick with that. you should not have mmos installed at all with new firmware just the Simucube App needed :)

    I referred to this site.
    https://boxthislap.org/simucube-setting-and-tunning-guide/

    My SimuCUBE kit Spec:
    Servo Motor: MiGE 130ST-M15015 30Nm 10000ppr (40000cpr)
    PSU: Mean Well 480W/720W peak (Noiseless) 30Nm
    Servo drive: Ioni Pro HC (25A)

    MCC = 24A ← MMC minus 1
    MMC = 25A ← Case of Ioni Pro HC
    MPP = 480Watts - 710Watts ← Less than PSU peak Wattage

    MMos:
    [Steering Stop]
    Gain = 1.00
    Max Force= 15%

    [Force Setting]
    Overall Filter=4
    Min Force = 0.00%
    Max Force = 30% - 100% ← Adjust the strength of FFB here

    [Device Settings]
    Encoder CPR = 40000 ← Servo Motor Encoder PPR x 4

    [Effect Filter]
    Damping Filter = 128
    Friction Filter = 128
    Inertia Filter = 128

    [Desktop Effect]
    Damper = 5.45%
    Saturation = 5.45%

    [User Effect]
    Damper = 5.45%
    Saturation = 5.45%

    This one was better
    MMos Overall Filter = 20
    In Game FFB Smoothing = 0

    This is my current SimuCUBE beta settings, for a few cars I have also added some filter to stop oscillation in pit.

    my osw.json is still the same
