So I created a custom series a few weeks ago and running an offline championship. I went on vacations for a week and now that I tried to resume it, it's completely gone. I don't know if the game update had anything to do with it but I went back to the previous version and it's not there, so probably not. Went to the MAS utility to create a new one and the thing keeps crashing on me after trying to create or edit a new series. Regardless of these issues, i have to say this method for creating offline championships is the least user friendly ever. I swear, if it wasn't for the physics, i would've dumped RF2 long time ago, it's an ugly dinosaur compared to Assetto Corsa and probably every other sim out there.
I actually realized what the issue is. One of the tracks i was using got updated so i deleted the old version manually as i had dupes. As i just found out, series don't get updated. I had the old version of the track in the series, so when i deleted the track the series were gone as well. The issue of MAS utility crashing remains tho, as i'm trying to create some new series. I think i read someone else was having the same issue
I can't find the folders (AppData\Roaming) nor the pkginfo files. I also used the Windows search function to no avail.
You need to enable that in Windows Folder options https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/14201/windows-show-hidden-files
I hear you. It seems like ISI chose the worst and most complicated way to develop the game and I don't see any of this changing until S397 decides to launch a fresh new game in the future.
