Was expecting the new release of Bentley GT3 on September like it was announced but after Simracing Expo talk with Marcel i understood they were post note the release to October.

Seems that on Simracing Expo the car was already in good shape so, the question..... Why all this wait without any official information, seems media communication is lacking here to say the least......

    Your thoughts please!

Yes i agree with you, gpFan.
I suppose they will deliver all the remaining cars from the package, and for that reason they were delayed

I personally would prefer an "under promise" approach. I understand issues pop up, but the perception when dates are continuously not met, is incompetence.

I'm not trying to insult or suggest that, I'm just saying it leaves a poor taste in the customers mouth.

No, they specifically said it was delayed until October in the last roadmap update. That was for the whole GT3 pack, if I read it correctly. They haven't even announced what the remaining two cars are, so let's wait until the end of the month.

I think we explained before we are waiting on final approval from each of the 5 manufacturers. That is almost done now, but we have limited control over the time it takes.

I prefer that they take the time to succeed the first V1 of the cars.

Indeed it was necessary to wait for the 3rd version for the mclaren either to ISI standards in terms of physics / ffb (according to me).

And it must be recognized that they are finalizing major things for rf2 at this time.

The real stake I fear is the priorities that will follow. I hope they will not make any mistakes.

When you have only a small team and little money, project priorities are absolutely essential.

Yes but communication is the key. Let the people know what is happening even if it is a holding pattern approach.

We are all on the same boat my man.
This has been beaten to death though.
I'm sure some of them have kids to feed so yeah, rest assured they are doing their best.
I have prepared myself for disappointment concerning the identity of the cars, I do expect a quality result though.
Hopefully it will be worth the wait.
Either way we still love you guys, no hard feelings or anything:cool:

Indeed I think there are such reactions that I find unrecognizable because communication is a real weakness of ISI and S397.

    But nothing dramatic inside.

So the rest of the pack will be released together right? I understood that licencing negotiations were on the table, but that´s the only info we have. After your interview on Simracing expo you announced the Bentley deal and by assumption i though the next car to be released was it!

So do you think it´s possible to announce or release the pack this month???

Maybe a strong word dont you think..... but agree with 1º part of your post.

"Maybe a strong word dont you think...."

I don't know why I am a lot more forgiving with these things.
I am dealing with up to 100 customers daily and I know that they come in all sorts of flavors.
So I know to look at the bigger picture.
I'm sure S397 are also learning from this and the impact of their marketing approach concerning the release of the GT3 pack.
You have governments and prime ministers coming out and say "we were new, we made mistakes".

A simple Blog with such info would be gr
I really think it would help to put up a sticky on the forum, a further blog post and also on Steam to explain this. Not everyone is reading all the posts on the forum.

Well, if they don't care to read I guess they don't care about release dates either?
