The ISI-made Corvette C6R is, without a doubt, one of my favorite cars (if not THE favorite). It is the car that hooked me into rFactor 2, it was instant love and I could not get enough of rFactor since I tried it. I do recall some people saying that it's the most accurate GT car for rFactor 2, if not for the entire sim racing genre... but why? What makes it so special? I'm constantly selling rFactor 2 (in a figuratively way) for people who enjoy Motorsport in general, and I'd like to have a very compelling reason to sell rFactor with this car, to tell why rF2 is a must-have and how this car is the pinnacle of GT racing. So, what's your take on this car and how it's regarded? Thanks
It's handling can be very neutral, which makes it easier to take to the limit. It doesn't have excessive issues with tire wear and remains stable through a fuel run. Doesn't mean it's an easy car to drive, but there are certainly more difficult cars. In terms of 'most accurate'? I don't really think it's easy to say that... Compared to the GT3 pack alone, I would say S397 have worked more closely with a couple of manufacturers for those.
