I've only driven the supercharged Charger so far, but it's loads of fun! Great job! One request, can you make the side mirrors adjustable?
Did a few laps around Bathurst last night in the Ford coupe and for the first time in awhile my VR headset was sweaty and foggy. To power that car down conrod and trying to brake with a H shift takes finesse and skill and demands it all. What a great mod and work to bring that to us , thanks Nib
Hey guys really like the way this mod is going great stuff great era of australian cars and motor racing. I hate asking for stuff but ...any chance the Monaro Group c could have a racing driver eg gloves and helmet would just add to it. There are a couple of racing Monaros I am thinking of skinning and this would be the cream on the cake thanks again
With a week until Bathurst there's no better way to get into the mood. Another 2 cars to add to the early 70's era, the XA Falcon GT in both sedan and Hardtop. Thanks again to Paps for the great video. enjoy
The Hardtop is a great drive; it has power and pretty good handling. The interior is fantastic and just as I remembered them. As a kid, I always thought the Falcon cabin and dash were like a plane's cockpit with the wrap around console that seemed to go on for ever, especially compared to the Valiant's minimalist dash. The Valiant and the HQ's interiors showed their origins in the 1960s whereas the Falcon seemed 1970s jetage - the future! But god, they're big. They look heavier than they are. They also look a handful. If anything, I think the coupe is a little too stable, there isn't much body roll or pitch in the touring car. I look forward to the Torana as it should be a blast. Cheers.
The 4 door family car is hilarious. It brings back memories although not of that specific car. Just like real muscle cars of that era, you cannot simply go fast by smashing the gas. These things have to be coaxed to stay on the track (and still go fast) in some cases and I love every minute of it. Be sure to take a few minutes to look at all of the vehicles closely. You will not be wasting your time.
My dad had the Landua and sitting in the back seat on the hump ( youngest kid ) l would stare at that dash and think just the same , just like a TAA 727 ( Fly , fly away with TAA ! ).. at night it was even more Jetliner like lol..
