    Maybe they're waiting for the Roadmap to reveal all the info.

    This is the first post from facebbook, do you like it? I don`t.o_O
    "Nico Buzz The world faster player become the world faster buggy....
    Everytime i try to do one lap, in this competition, in vr, the game crash and returned on the desktop...occulus has stop to work....inspite of that when i try solo with the mclaren, in vr, with 30 cars everything is ok.... something goes wrong with the online world fastest player, cause it does the same without oculus (with a simple screen)"

    No new UI, no juicy details, fix gMotor please.:rolleyes:

    I guess it may not be ready for that yet. If they upload something to YT that isn't fully ready, these graphic purists will start to complain about raindrops not behaving according to laws of physics, wrong water reflections, etc. But I would like to see more about the UI, all we got since last winter is one screenshot showing the old opponent filter page.

    Yes it will remain operational so you can switch between, we are trying to reach the same performance as DX9 with the DX11 updates - lots of work has been and is going into performance:)"

    Scary to read this one from S397. Reason we all are struggling with high system usage in DX11 is DX9 and I was hoping to get standalone DX11 next year.

    Scary to read that "lots of work has been and is going into performance" o_O it doesn't say "we've stopped and this is what you're getting!", now that would be scary! Clutching at straws Ari, just wait and see what the next update brings before getting your knickers in a twist ;)

    Sure mate but if you read technical forum you find lot of rapports about stutters, sudden freezes etc. Many members have asked S397 to reply but they prayers are unanswered.:(
    I rely hope that when I am reading new release notes that it is not all about VR fixes and updates and hope that stutters, sudden freezes etc. are fixed to befit common users.;)

    They don't need to answer...or to be more clear, if someone write on support they helps you but if someone moan asking for updates they already know this and are working on it so why should waste their time responding?

    @Ari Antero Working on it?
    Or do you think they have a magic box where you put your support ticket and solution pop ups instantly?

    You seem to missing the point. When you file support question there should be answer with solution and if there is no solution an simple answer that we are working with it. Obviously it is too much to ask answer to all post`s but I think regarding, stuttering, sudden freezes etc which is the problem many in this community have the simple answer is not too much to ask.

    Stop justifying the fact that not a single reply has been obtained despite the numerous posts. Silence in such critical aspects as massive stuttering is not acceptable. Maybe next roadmap will give us some info regarding this issue. It is there where they explain what they have been working on. What do you think?

    As regards performance, I'm a bit surprised the goal with DX11 was only to get to the same performance as DX9. The key to the 'better graphics' is usually the shaders and post-processing. In order to enable that and get the same frame rates as you previously had, that means you'd need to probably get a 10-20% improvement in frames without those capabilities enabled, to leave people with the same frame rates they previously had with some of the new 'eye candy'. This is actually about what iRacing achieved with their DX11 port. Right now, on an older GPU, I was getting about 90fps on DX9; I can't get 90fps on DX11 with the additional capabilities enabled, as so, I am stuck with disabling the shaders and post-processing. In effect, its no change for me.

    Second, the really critical thing to get at is stuttering. Having a framerate above 60fps is one thing, but constant dips and farts make that seem worse. Using middleware to get DX11 may well be the cause of that stuttering. It's going to be really hard to find the causes for that stuttering and get fixes if the issues are with the middleware. But I suspect this middleware is also the reason why they didn't project that needed 10-20% performance improvement with DX11; they knew they would probably lose some efficiency by use of the middleware. In better news, I do see that pCARS2 has very good stable frame rates and not much stuttering using that same middleware, and apparently also scales across multiple threads as well (I'll assume those are mainly render threads not physics threads). So lets hope its possible.
