Anyone know where I might get a replacement G27 Opticle Encoder. I have repaired mine but dont know if it will last.

Thanks for those links. I was hoping to find a genuine part or an aftermarket copy. You would think Logitech would be abliged to make another batch as there are so many failing. I had seen those brass ones & wondered how they would go. Be good to here from people who had tried them. Whatched a video showing one being fitted, but didn't go on & say how well it worked. The 3D printing sounds interesting, I guess that is the way things are going. All I need is a printer & some plastic ink.
It was still in one piece but had two splits in it. I glued a washer to it with epoxy. It's working fine at present.
@rocky289 Mine had started to lose centre, ostensibly because the encoder was slipping on the motor shaft. It had one noticeable crack, may have had more. I didn't glue it together at all, just 'glued' it to the motor shaft to stop it moving (actually used nail polish... wife came in handy for once), did the same after tightening the screws that hold that board in place so they wouldn't loosen. Had no further issues for a few years at which point I got a new wheel. I imagine it still works fine. So I wouldn't worry. If you put some glue in there, especially with a washer, and it works fine now, I doubt you'll have any issues with it. *I suppose I should qualify that - if you used a plastic washer and put the encoder back in place only (no glue), it'll probably be fine. If you use a metal washer and did the same, I'd be worried about inertia making it turn on the shaft. But either way with something to hold it on the motor shaft should be fine.
I watched that video. Thats were I got the idea of using a washer. Would of rather used plastic or fibre but couldnt find one small enough.
ENCODER@CMLASERSERVICE.COM You need to email him. The last one I bought was about $35AU from memory. **Make sure you check which type you have as they aren't interchangeable.**
He is not shipping at the moment due to Covid lockdown as I have one on order. He will accept orders and ship when he can.
Yeah, I've dealt with him a number of times and he's very reliable. From memory I think he is either a simracer or used to be. He's been making them for years now.
