Niburu, thank you for this reply, very helpfull I have been changing the physics this morning on the Rover, inline with the modifications i have done for the RF1 version. And when i started RF2 the glass was transparent ??? I did not touch the skins or shaders just engine and HDV changes. But would still like to see your findings, thank you.
The problem with the glass is it uses a .tga texture. DX11 doesn't like .tga in most cases where dx9 is more friendly with them. Change the texture to .dds and the problem is fixed in DX11. Use the mod in DX9 all will be fine.
I have done some fixes All windows All gauges now work Moved and aligned steering wheel in 2 cars. Changed material settings on a few materials. Fixed nightlighting issues. All head lights and brake lights. Started on the menu images but with over 1000 cars that's going to take some time.
Nibiru, impressive stuff, look forward to you releasing ( i hope) this work. I dont have much problem doing the editing physics, shaders, skins etc.I am new to RF2 modding though, even if i have had it since day one. I make the changes but cannot save the new edits so they are seen in game. The car in this case the Rover just doesnt show.

Remember this was a quick update to help with some issues in DX11 and to address some old problems. Your feedback is always welcomed...what we do with it is another story. Hope you enjoy @Christopher Elliott could you update the links in the first post please
been driving ver 0.4 for the last hour, very nice, the windows are transparent !!!!! the cars look different from outside? The menu images are so helpful. All the fixes were really needed, cant thank you enough.
Thanks Nibiru. Will let you know if I find any issues.Really glad you are working on mods for rfactor2. Steve
I remember this as being a really fun mod! Thanks. I'm looking forward to taking the Sierra Cosworth RS500 out for a spin again
The skins look good, I can see you have, as you told me, made the windscreen glass a DDS file. Also the front and rear lights are now DDS. Can i ask have you also been changing the skins to an Albedo map? I ask because i have been working through some making the DX11 changes to the skins.
Hey, I've found some problems in the mod: The M3 still has glitched tailights And M3s that call for the red five spoke rims are broken. Other than that tho, this has been a great update
Not sure what happened there. The M3 was the longest update due to your exact issue. I was sure I had fixed it!! Unfortunately the M3 is one of the biggest downloads but I have fixed the issue with the red rims. Version v041 for the M3 now. http://www.mediafire.com/file/5k88qa5sfmfvqfq/TCR_BMWM3_v041.rfcmp
