WGC released a DX11 updated Spa the other day. Available on Steam workshop. Nice.

Really impatient to know which cars are being added, while I have no problems spending the £13,I don't want to buy cars I won't drive,so I'm holding back for now on purchasing the pack.
Hoping for some more open wheelers too, cash waiting and burning a hole, cough cough

Throw us a curve ball in the GT3 pack. Something quite different from all the usual GT3 candidates would be refreshing. How about a Ginetta?!

Problem is that the only "unnusual" that would sell are probably the GT300 spec cars and even with those I'd have my doubts if I was the one paying for the licenses lol

Is there any way to increase the steps for adjusting the camera in the official 650S GT3 (mainly more than 240 in z-direction)? The range feels somewhat limited to me. I really hope to see adjustments in future updates. Car feels nice, though.

I believe there was an issue with the original creators of that Spa track. So it may have been taken down. I'm not at my Gaming PC to check. Disappointing if that is the case as a DX11 Spa is great for all. But if the correct protocol was no followed then so be it. Though as a new RF2 player it just highlights the need for more Official content be it paid or not (which hopefully seems to be the direction S397 are going).

I really enjoy the GT3 pack driving-wise, but sadly the possible cockpit adjustments in the cars that have been released today are as limited as they were in the 650S GT3. While this surely is not a problem with a triple screen setup, it's barely useable in singlescreen mode (screens shows maximum of 240 in z-direction):

Why don't you allow up to 400 or 500 steps to give players more adjustment range for a broader selection of screen setups? Would be great to see this in future updates - small change, big effect.

Why don't you just make your FOV a bit wider? Or am I missing something. The issue is your camera will go through the seat, so you won't be able to see, that's why it only goes a certain distance.

Widening the fov drags the players eyes even further away from the car, sir. That's not a solution. I need to get closer to the dashboard/windscreen. Adjusting fov is the last step after finding a solid seat position.

Oh, I thought you were trying to move the seat backwards. In the player.json file, there are seat options, you can mess around with them, but I don't know if that'll work.

To make clear what I mean... in order to create a realistic cockpit cam - which is individual for every screen/rig - I need to get close enough to the dashboard.

    Just as an example
    What rF2 offers

Try "Seat Adjustment Aft":0.5, in the player.json, or even higher. Something else you could try, is enter free cam(default U I think), and set a button to move the camera forward. A bit of a pain in the butt, but that's a way to do it.

    Will try that, thanks. :)

    EDIT
None of these approaches works, sadly. "Seat Adjustment Aft" gets a reset to "-0.24" every time you restart rF2 (even with player.json set to read only, just writes a new file). Free cam doesn't work into z-direction and your view gets different everytime you move the mouse which wouldn't be so nice during races.

It would be so much easier for S397 to just allow more steps for cockpit cam adjustments (500 instead of 240).
