Hi, I am just curious if I like in Assetto Corsa, have to own each car (pack) that is participating in a race. Or will it be like Raceroom or IRacing where I can own one favourite and still race the others? If going towards AC's approach I can't see the benefit of selling a car outside of the bundle? Another question I have is if it is somehow possible to testdrive a car before a buy? Or can it be refunded if I don't find it to my liking?
On discord someone said that we don't need to buy each car to race online. Refund is possible. I think after 48 hours.
http://store.steampowered.com/steam_refunds/ So 2 hours of usage maximum to pretend to a refund and 14 days to test.
As far as I know, you are buying an in-game item. Which means: Refunds on In-game Purchases Steam will offer refund for in-game purchases within any Valve-developed games within forty-eight hours of purchase, so long as the in-game item has not been consumed, modified or transferred. Third-party developers will have the option to enable refunds for in-game items on these terms. Steam will tell you at the time of purchase if the game developer has opted to offer refunds on the in-game item you are buying. Otherwise, in-game purchases in non-Valve games are not refundable through Steam.
HI, DID THE MISTAKE OF BUYING THE MCLAREN 650S AND THE GT3 PACK WHERE IT IS ALREADY INCLUDED. IS THERE WAY TO RESOLVE THIS? THANK YOU
This was my understanding aswell, bying a car in or pack in Raceroom as an example is non-refundable but it also says so at purchase. What did it say for those who now bought the car/pack?
AFAIK you can get a refund within 48 hours after you bought it. Just go to your ordering history in steam.
Could S397 tell us the cars contained in the GT3 pack? I like to know what I buy. It may be a bit stupid but it's like that.
Guess the cars... this one is really good, very well done S397, going dlc's before fixing bugs is a thing, but selling something without telling what it is... fanboys could really swallow anything... we touched the sky... incredible!
Even though I don't either like the fact that we don't know the rest of the cars (no such thing in other sims as far as I know of), I was still happy to support rf2. I hope one of the cars will be Lamborghini.
I recently picked up rF2 in the summer sale. There's probably a fine line between trust and blind faith. However, one of my disappointments was Official Content on some of the more famous euro tracks and GT3 cars. Though the mods out there are excellent I would still always see official content as a base line of quality. I have purchased the GT3 pack based on the fact that it is content I will use and the quality and upkeep of the content should be a 'given'. On top of this S397 do seem do have a vision for rf2 which looks promising and I support that. Now, if S397 could release a Nords, Spa and Monza (or maybe update to DX11 the current good mods) that would be dandy

I will buy the GT3 pack, because buying only the McLaren to partecipate in a contest where I have no chance to made it into the top 100, is a nonsense. I don't care what other cars will be added because the deal is already as good as it can be : 3€ for each car is quite a gift.. and I bet when all the cars will be released the package will cost a bit more... or maybe not.. but it would make sense.
In an official pack, you can understand them asking a price for it. They would have had to acquire licenses form the manufacturers. So it could be any of them really Come on! Give us an Aston Martin!
