hi all Questions : does someone knows how to had a specific Track's sound (wave file) in the RFCMP ?? its working good in the DevMod ; i put the manually the wave in ("devmod/sounds/ambient/xxx.wave") and had the position of the sounds in the Cams file of the track .. but how to add this specific ambience sounds automatically when you installed the RFCMP of the track ?? perhaps to put the wave in a Mas (Ambient2.Mas) but where to go this files for to work ; "Core/Sounds/Ambient2.MAS" or in "Installed/Sounds/Ambient2folder " with the wave inside this new folder?? does i have to add the link of the new sound folder in the begin of the SCN File of the track ?? well , if someone knows the method .. ps: sorry for my very bad english
i add a mas called "AMBIENT.MAS" who contain the wave file in the RFCMP but no sounds in game .. i do another RFCMP with the wave inside (like a add-on for the track) and it work ..
It really doesn't matter where you put files. You can create 1 .mas from the whole track if you whish. At the miniville track, i've put the ambient sounds in a file called: "miniville_ambient.mas".
ambient.mas in core folder is still use , but if you want to add Ambients sounds , just create a new Mas with the track's name_Ambient.MAS i don't test all other solutions but this one work ..
Is it possible to assign an ambient sound with vehicle to vehicle or vehicle to wall contact? The effect basically would be to hear a crowd cheering if the contact was made but only near a grandstand. This sound would be barely audible in the car but heard in replays.
