    Hello.
    I'm happy to joint this community.
    I'm a new gamer on RF2.
    I use the V3 of Fanactec pedal in USB mod.
    In game Auto-clutch is OFF. The shifter is in the H-Mod, and yet I can to trigger the gear without use the clutch pedal.
    Someone already met this problem? Is this normal in RF2?
    Thank's for reply.

    Normal in rF2. Depending on your player.JSON settings and the car being driven, you may need to blip on downshift and/or lift on upshift to achieve smooth drivetrain result. Before you say it is unrealistic, it is not unrealistic for most racing transmissions (e.g. Hewland).

    there's one less obvious setting: if you have auto clutch off and car does not have anti-stall and starter button is mapped, cars will stall when RPM drops below certain point. And, even though there's room for improvement, if you're coming from pCars/Dirt Rally, keep in mind that what those games do for H-shifting is not realistic for sport gearboxes (as Emery said).

    Good ! Thank's for reply.

    @Emery :
    I'm glad to learn how works RF2. So, I will get used to the automatic clutch.
    However, in the file Player.json is it possible to change this (just for fun) ?
    How to do ?

    @The Iron Wolf :
    I'm comming from ASSETTO CORSA / DIRT RALLY !
    I'm totally agree with you.

    The clutch doesn't seem to work with all RENAULT MEGAN, NISSAN, CORVET.
    On the other hand at the stand, the car stalls if I start the gear without disengaging.

    Just to clarify,you're saying you can change gears without the clutch,if correct then maybe the cars do not need the clutch to change gears,like an f1 car.
    I can see this being plausible for the fr3.5 but I'm not sure about the tin tops

    Which tells me you have autoclutch disabled (like real life). Autoclutch will keep the car from stalling.

    It's possible ! I never drive a real racing car. So, I don't know. Maybe this isn't a problem, that's how it works.

    In fact, I just wanted to know if it was due to a bad configuration, and if you had the same "problem" !
