So far ive seen the AI at Silverstone in both the cobra and the howston just fly off stowe all the time!!. Makes racing here a bit pointless. Are the Ai paths etc going to be looked at down the line S397 please? Sorry to be so blunt but we haven't much choice to race at regarding dx11 stuff. I thought these things would be fixed with the new dx release? Regards
Try deleting your Shader and CBash folders. I think that should fix it. https://forum.studio-397.com/index....-simple-way-to-clear-shaders-and-cbash.55446/
"AI Learning" is your friend ... It's quite simple to achieve and you can always use ctrl-x to speed up the learning process. For a start, you could extract the attached archive into rFactor 2\UserData\player\Settings\ It contains "learned" driving lines for: Code: HOWSTON_G4_1968 HOWSTON_G6_1968 ISI_CHEVROLET_CAMAROGT3_2012 ISI_CHEVROLET_CORVETTE_ZR1_2012 ISI_CORVETTE_C6RGT2_2009 ISI_KODIZR_2005 ISI_NISSAN_370Z_2012 ISI_NISSAN_GTR_2011 NISSAN_GT500_2013 [edit] added link to "AI Learning" [/edit]
Well in this case, it will work! The CBash is all you need to do. It fixes an early beta problem where the cars would 'hit' the white lines instead of drive over them. At Stowe it causes them to spin out. Emptying the CBash folder will ensure it's fixed. Voila!
Thanks, i have deleted the content of 'Shaders' and 'Cbash', but it didn't work. I'll prove AI learning method.
sorry but default Ai should not fall off any track like that. Shouldn't need to teach the ai. don't want to sound harsh but, should be fixed internally.
True, but until S397 has the time to take care of these comparatively minor issues, there's a workaround by letting the AIs learn any given track. I even posted working files for the two Howston cars, that you mentioned in you OP, so you didn't even have to do it on your own. Did you actually download them and gave them a try ? Max
