Hello, I just received this today. Its in beta but as we are close to INDY 500 im sharing it now. Credits: Physics/Sounds/Driver are ISI/S397 and updated. Thank you very much. One problem: I would like to adjust the mirrors. Unfortunately this is not possible using the usual keys (left ctrl/alt/shift and WASD)
Had so much fun running the Formula Challenge last night! One thing i have noticed is when switching to the Alternate Tire from the Primary or vice versa the Tire texture's do not change. The Alternate usually have a Red stripe on the tire to indicate the softer compound. I'm not if this has not been implemented yet or its a bug not allowing for the texture to be seen but either way that is the only thing i noticed with the Formula Challenge. The Formula Lights car however has Mirror issues when sitting in Cockpit view. They are facing directly down into the ground and i am unable to see the cars behind me. Apart from those small things the mod is great, They are a joy to drive as always and the standard of graphics was never a question from such a highly established professional modding team.
It's alright for a rough conversion. Aside from unique physics, please remove the brake ducting on the speedway kits and add proper tire textures on the indycars!!! The lights car needs a lot of work (ISI F2 physics are not a good fit).
Great mod! Here are some screens The steering wheel looks really dark, would be better to have a bit brighter textures on it and slightly reflective shaders on carbon. And rpm leds doesn't look like they're glowing, when the sun is shining red led is almost invisible
love this, many thanks just ... the little winglets (Chevy) and side boxes (Honda) on the frontwings of the road kits the later season front wings were much better ... still, many thanks again I'm off to Indy for qualifying (virtually )
@UnitedRacingDesign great job as always, I'm not going to put any comments as you mention it's in beta so will probably change some more going forward. However, great job to yourself and Piero asr mangano. Visually so much better than the official RF2 cars (just more current in design; it must be a nightmare which all those various kits), many thanks. Do you know when the shaders on the PX cars will be updated for DX11? Donation will be made in a moment
