try using dx11 optimised cars?

 

Just checked and my 1070 is better than a 1080 ??? WTF , Why?

 

I'm saying i have great performance DX9 or DX11 content .

 

u measuring the same part of track? The start stadia always has fps drops.

 

Did you really set it to 24hz refresh-rate?

 

Yeah , it always defaults to that even though it plays at whatever it does .lol

 

I'll do it again but where should i do it ? i dont know corner names .

 

And everything else stays like it is in the config screen? Strange issue, no?

 

It also shows windows 8 and my GTX 1070 with 3GB memory ,lol

 

This is after i changed it to 60Hz in the launcher .lol but atleast it has my GPU memory correct on this screen but still not Win 10.

 

Crazy stuff. I knew it throws out wrong sysinfo. But actual settings? That is a new one to me.

 

It's showing the same info in settings as in config.exe. It just means it's using the same outdated module for both, probably something that ISI coded in the beginning of the millennium when nobody knew about 8 GB GPUs.

Actually there is no reason for that information to be shown at all. The game doesn't need to know what exact GPU or how much RAM is in use, the OS/drivers handle that.

 

There is a delay in car showing reflections , about 15 seconds

Where are we in regards to watching full race VR replays? Am having some cracking races that I'd love to watch again but am only getting grey screen (am trying to activate replay from main menu option. not in-race)

 

You can discount about 2/3 of (official)AC stuff as driving simulators and not racing and it costs a bucket load of $$ to get all IR stuff so for $$ for money and of course with future official content ,both DLC and free and of course moded content plenty of which is excellent I see it as a good value and reason for many to stay and many to come..

 

The only one it changes is the Hz , from 60 to 24 whenever i go back to the launcher config it says 24Hz but it has no effect on the game at all . Sometimes i remember to flick it back to 60 but mostly don't even look there , just change the PP depending if i want to use official track but i mostly just leave PP off because i often use mods .

A bigger question for me is why my GTX 1070 playing maxed @ 3840x2160 outperforms someone else using a GTX 1080 and 1080p and i get higher FPS ?
I was on the verge of selling my 1070 to get a 1080 just to get 10 or so more fps but it looks like that could be a big mistake .

 

I have a 1080 on a i7 maxxed out rf2 uses about 40% of my cpu !? averaging about 90-120 fps

Your i7-3770K appears to be a quadcore with hyper threading, so an overall usage of ~40% roughly equals to three cores being fully loaded.
Since rF2 is (was ?) using a maximum of two cores, I suspect some other program in the background using CPU cycles.
