Just saw the lastest beta patch notes. Does FFB issue fixed mean that we don't have to start SteamVR anymore before starting rF2?

I don't Know much about vr, but ffb is meaning force feedback. That's the force your wheel produces. I guess it has nothing to do with vr.

    Cheers

The FFB related fixes were related to the interaction with different road surfaces. That's about the best possible description without getting really technical.

There is an issue with FFB in the Beta whereby those with VR need to run SteamVR first otherwise we won't get any FFB in game, that's what the OP was referring too.

So maybe the paint stripe problem may have been fixed?

Could you expand on this, please? I am not aware about it.

    not here

yellow lines act like bumps and whites like some kind of mini-curbs , and the ffb is quite weird in my mmos small mige.

was perfect (dx9 alike) one beta build before.

Precisely. Just tested it and FFB is still off in VR when you don't start SteamVR first. I have some force feedback, but the steering seems way too light.
