    Now this looks good, everything but the special effects, shadows and reflections is max and get ~80 fps. USF @ Lime Rock Park
    Windows 10, regular hard drive, 12Gb memory and GTX 970 here.

    I have never had to assign neutral before, that just seems like a bizarre thing to change.
    What option would I have to change in the player .json?

    Despite the not working TrackMap plugin, I decided to try the new DX11 build. I started from scratch.
    It resulted in a big FPS improvement, but I seem to have lost triple screen support !?

    While it was perfect under DX9, I can't find a way to get it right now. It looks like a sim that does not support triple screens at all, so I get the stretched side views, (too) big mirrors and dizziness coming up when looking left or right while driving.
    - resolution 6082 x 1080
    - refresh rate 144 Hz
    - window fullscreen
    - widescreen hud ticked
    - multi view ticked

    Please tell me: is there anything else I may have forgotten since I started RF2 ??? :(

    Edit: why says the UI that I have WIN 8 Build 9200, while I work with WIN 10Pro ? Don't know if it's important or not...

    Have you pressed Ctrl-= to get the triple screen utility for adjusting screen size, angle, & distance?

    I forgot to change the values in the UserData > Config_DX11 file. I just knew I missed something, but could not figure out what it was. Triples are OK now.
    I did read about that Ctrl= thing, but it does not seem to work for me, at least nothing happens ?

    I think most people who are not familiar with the process of development and betatesting, are really underestimating the whole situation and their influence that they can have on development and overreacting when it doesn't work as expected for them. At the end everybody benefits, when more people have access to the beta and data can be collected faster, resulting in faster investigation of problems and bugs. And the cool thing is, that people have a choice.

    For me on a gtx970 i7 ultrawide screen2560.

    They just need to fix vsync and the cloud issue. As with 17 AI, PP high, AA 4 everything max (shad blur off, reflections low) I'm getting a good 60-80 fps on the new tracks. Silverstone in a race hovers around the 60 mark, but overall I'm happy with DX11 and so far its starting to superced my previous FPS. With clouds I lose about 10-15 fps.

    Just replays which tank, but most of these gmotor games the replay is poor. Look at AMS. Raceroom is possibly the exception.

    Mores is set on scripted "clear" and it's hit or miss whether it's overcast or not.

    When it´s scripted "clear" it´s clear! No hit & miss there...??? We have yet a random weather option?

    Scripted has values for different time segments. Simple weather does not... use the simple weather = Sunny.

    I'm just reporting a problem, i set clear and sometimes it comes up overcast, that was not the case before. but thx for tip emery

    For first week of 397 release
    It's pretty darn good

    No one can complain
    This is like the first next gen title in the making

    Press "enter" in replay view to hide the UI, then you should get the same FPS as live. There is currently an issue where UI elements (standings list is worse of all) kill the FPS of the entire sim and it extends to replays as well.

    Anyone know the difference between these builds on steam:

    "v1108-dx11-open-beta"
    "v1108-dx11-open-beta-last-stable-"

    Which one is the newest?

    "v1108-dx11-open-beta" is the latest, "v1108-dx11-open-beta-last-stable" is the one that was released on May 1st.

    @LokiD: considering that S397 is working on a new UI, I expect that to change anyway for all tracks, so don't worry about that too much right now. I guess it is a remnant of the old UI as so many other things. If it looks like that with the new UI release, you can complain.
