Better Pit Road Detection System Idea

This is not a discussion about how the simulator will respond to such an entry.

 

So use a more complex xpitin and xpitout. No need for anything new.

The problem is it does matter how the sim responds to and alternate detection otherwise what is the point?

I think you are being too theoretical.
I haven't missed the feature you propose and seemingly nobody else in the forum has. So even if you are right what would be the purpose to touch anything that hasn't been needed for such a long time?

I would rather see devs spending time improving cut track which is much important for races

 

Like someone already mentioned, you can just make an invisible wall all around the pit road. This way you can ONLY enter the proper way. However this isn't something that needs to be done on most tracks. I think you might have better success talking too whomever made the tracks you are worried about.
