Hi everyone. There are two cars and three tracks here that got my attention. Without them I wouldn't be here right now. F1 Spark Lola T70 Targa Florio Spa Historic Nordschleife Fall I also drive with time progressing from predawn, which I enjoy very much. The road texts are the best graphics I think. I even like the deep black tire marks on road surfaces. The sound is the best I have experienced in rF2, not that other sims have bad sound. My question is what cars should be in rF2? I notice there are cars from rFactor that I would love to have in rF2. Are licences from the first rFactor good for rF2? What are your favorite car/track that you can't live without?
What cars should be in rF2: You cant have enough content! Everyone want something else, everything is interesting at least! rF1 had close to none licensed content. But the unlicenced, fantasy ones would be interesting for sure! Same goes for fantasy tracks! Lienz anyone? Favorite combo: Megane on Toban, USF2000 on Toban, Lola at Belgian historic, Civic BTCC on oulton or Donington, Megane on Bathurst.
That's true. Always more content is good. Not that I think the devs need any more pressure right now! Will give these combos a try! Thanks for suggestions!
I think we have some really great stock/ muscle cars. So there should be some with some drag slicks and a supercharger And of course the DRM mod. I love the legendary gruppe 5 cars. Maybe all lienz layouts from rf1
Yeah! I got the DRM set and can't figure out how to install them. I have installed other mods from the workshop and racedepartment. So I know about packages and install.
BT44 at historic Rouen .. Would keep me happy .add Pixsims yet to be released Charade and l think l wouldn't need another download
Rfactor 2 has all the cars needed I'd only like the radical added & that's on its way Others perhaps lotus f1 with the turbo setting on steering wheel adjustable on the fly ( T98 ? )
Could you please share what stock/muscle cars rFactor 2 has? Howsten and Stock car resurrection only come to mind. As cool as they are more variety qould be very welcome. I really love 60-70's muacle of rFactor and feel a great need for them in rF2 but can't for the life of me figure out how to mod to make them myself. I've tried but i suck at computer skills, not much better at driving but i do love it, lol
2014, before moving to AC DRM Team made this statement: "The DRM Modding Team has announced that the planned public release of their much-anticipated DRM Revival mod for rFactor has been called off. Unlike earlier instances of cancelled releases, the team’s decision is not rooted in licensing or legal pressure but comes from within the team as the creators are unhappy with the current state of the modding community. The team cites several reasons for their decision, including the unauthorized ripping and converting of their work to other simulations, the recent rise pay mods as well as a general unhappiness with rFactor itself." Do you get the clue?
"the recent rise pay mods" laughed at that comment as when they released that statement I think URD where the only one. Im sure a stack of people would have paid for The DRM mod as well. lose for us lose for them.
I have to agree. Take your frustration out on my wallet. I don't mind. I don't think it's wrong getting paid for your work.
Lotus 98T would be epic. I love the old formulas on Spa and M.Carlo classic, and Oulton Park for modern. Many different cars race well there. I like fast tracks with elevation change and fast technical corners way more than modern F1 stop & go tracks (chicanes all over lol).
