So let's say i take a turbo from a turbo car from workshop like the celita GTO for example, and i take the turbo lines and put them in a rf2 engine file that has no turbo, clearly that doesn't work.

Im trying to add turbo to an engine for 6 months now, and i just cant do it, any ideeas, anyone? help me :)

    Not
Nothing works man, i know it's there, i tried every engine and turbo lines, nothing works, if i get and engine that has turbo and out it on my car, and i delete the turbo lines, it's the same engine, evwn that skipbarber one. All the engines I've tried, do the same, so of course those turbo lines won't work with my engine also :) this is all in dev mode, i haven't tried in normal mode yet.

The skipbarber one, i tried it, nothing happens, it probably isnt a big turbo but still, nothing at all.

What do you guess, means that?
Right, this line must be uncommented...

oh yeah, of course i took those out, dude, i have the engine file from a car from workshop, that has turbo, and i used the engine in my car, all good, then i took the turbo lines out, and its the exact same engine, nothing changes. i tried baby steps, lets see what happens if, and nothing is happening. idk what that means really :) but ain't no turbo in my engine, if i give you an engine, can you put a big ass turbo in it? so that i can feel the difference? maybe im missing something?

depending upon the garage settings and the minimum value for the turbo boost within the engine file, a low setting means the turbo is turned down to nothing. You would have to ensure the boost setting is up high enough to measure the improvement.
I ran into much the same problem with GTR2, my solution there was to give the turbo engines a steeper torque curve so the power built sooner. It was a poor man's hack. Best of luck figuring this out.

so you mean those boost settings? i should go up idk maybe to 100 range? i'll try that

@floreacalin: could you share your non turbo engine file here?
I guess i can add a turbo to it.

nope nothing working, no turbo, i see the info, its spooling but nothing, am i missing something in dev mode? maybe it works in normal mode? any shortcuts to activate turbo?

No, there is nothing special needed.
OK, i have to check the non turbo file then.
    Where is it coming from?
Is the original File coming from rfactor1?

What turbo are you trying to add? if its garret, what compressor/turbine?

In made it with that physics editor, then converted to rf2 format, I was very careful, everything works great on the engine itself.
