Hello! I have another problem with the track conversion. In some places, the route the car is very strong shaking, the original track in RFactor car goes well. I noticed this on all the tracks, which are trying to convert. What can be done to fix it? Did I miss something?
Sounds like a mesh issue . . . by the sounds of it chances are the track mesh is one poly wide - which is perfectly fine in rF1 Look at a track mesh of a track that drives smooth and real road builds up nicely and see the difference
Check your road material is named roadXXXXXwet to properly work. XXXXX is the name you want. The gmts containing them should be called racesurfaceXXX.gmt. In this case XXX should be consecutive numbers starting at 00.
Check as well senormen's previous post about number of polys per width. One poly every 1-1,5 m width is a good value. If you need to refine the mesh I also made a tutorial about it. You will need 3dsmax for that.
Got a link... dont think I've seen that one, I've seen your excellent tutorial about converting using 3DSimEd but not one about refining meshes although I do suffer from CRS (Can't Remember Shite)
