Hi, most of us (but not all) are experiencing a game freeze of one or two seconds when a driver disconnect from the server. We have this problem on various mods. I'm having this problem personnaly. The game freezes for me, my car continue for other players but when the freeze stops after one or two seconds it's like my car didnt move so my car can reappear inside another one... We havent been able to find why someone has the problem and someone has not. A player with fiber connection can be affected while another with a slow DSL connection is not affected. If someone can help us, help would be very appreciated because it can kill our races and championships.
Don't mean to be silly or stupid but how do you know if I have this set? As I had this problem a while back on our server , however it just came good....
We're running Indycar from ISI, Flat6 from Enduracers and GTE Series. All have selectable upgrades indeed.
FYI we are running on a very big server under Windows 2012 R2 (Xeon 8 cores, 32GB RAM) and with guaranteed bandwith of 250Mbps. No antivirus installed on it.
Well that's not a micro lag, this is a really big one. 2 or 3 seconds each time someone disconnects from the race. No problem when someone enters. Can it be a client or server setting inside a JSON file ?
AFAIK the only solution is to not run cars with multi-class upgrades, see post #2 (unless this has been fixed in build 1108).
It's not a solution, it's frustration, hope S397 has this issue in priority one. Two races failed in our championship due to lag after people leaving before the end of the race.
It is at all the races that we have the problem. The small freeze when someone disconnects is the Liveracer who creates the problem => MadKing For big freezes without people disconnecting one does not find the problem and it makes teleportations seen by other players. We thought about lag internet but that's not it. Sorry for my english
It is not a solution, but it seems to be a very good workaround for now, and not that hard to implement most of the time. It is of course unfortunate that two of your races failed because people left before the end, but for now please use this workaround to avoid those problems. Rest assured, we are aware of this issue, we just have not tracked it down yet.
We will try to freeze the upgrade on our next race to see what happen (it's impossible to us, to develop a multiclass mod for years and not use it on championship !!) And thank you to indicate us you work on this issue.
