    Some Q after RF 2 on steam and
    rFactor 2 Build 1108
    Is it possible to use mods and tracks that was done for earlier Build ?
    And is that possible ? Where to lay in that files... a tutorial PDF would be good
    I notice that rf2 structure where all files is on installation of rf2 is on other folders with Build 1108
    then with older 1098 build

    I can't believe this is still an issue. I'm hoping S397 has MP package/mod improvements on the list because this is still a joke.

    @Kjell Nielsen

    The cache is all the standard content. All you need to do is subscribe to those in the Steam workshop (if you haven't/aren't already) and they will install and be available to you.

    Third party stuff can be installed just like non-steam, just need to put it in the correct packages folder. Hit the content button in the Launcher and you can see down the bottom what your packages folder is set to.

    ok thx it seems to work this way but if i wanna use old rf2 mods and tracks that not can be found in the rf2 workshop on steam site how i get this mod and tracka to work with build 1108 i have many GB with this i have downloaded and seems to be useless now with this 1108 version ?

    ok so i shall have 2 different rf2 installations ? one no steam and one with steam
    this game rf2 structure is not easy to understand best should be that people that own rf2 could download missing compenets from the online lobby by join a online server

    No, you can use third-party content in the steam installation.

    Start up rFactor 2, and click the Content button (looks like an open box). Down the bottom you'll see where your packages folder is. Put your .rfcmp etc files in that folder and click Refresh List, or click the + and add your current packages folder to the Launcher. Then you can install them and play them.

    nVidia user with 8 Levels in rFConfig? That's probably Level 6 then.

    I had that. Created a new player.JSON (mine was probably several builds old) and all was OK. Not sure if that was the sole reason...but it went away after that.
