I agree 100% with your point. However stuff happens and it is usually places where and times when you least expect it. The question I think is more about why this type of file would drive this sort of response, not whether it actually is a virus?

 

Update went well but Im getting the message "Mod could not be installed ,, error downloading Mod ,try manual installation" on a few servers including the official Studio397 server ?...also a longer hang time on tracks loading ? are new shaders and cbash folders being created ??

You probably need to assign a key to it again. Look in settings menu for triple/tires

 

Question: Can we expect to get a proper config screen in the next few builds? So we know what we are actually doing with AA? Right now it only says Level 1 to 8 or something and I don't really know what each level is. Can we have proper AA naming (e.g. "8xMultisample") like in the example below? (not my screen...)

@Christopher Elliott : Are there some cons to use this "WorkaroundFlags=1" parameter? Until now i had no Nvidia driver crashes (with my current Nvidia driver 376.33, which is an older one), but i would like to be on the safe side, when i do league racing.

Edit: Sorry, i meant driver version 369.09.

 

Download completed eventually. Now things seem to work.

 

If you've never had Nvidia driver crashes, we recommend keeping the workaround off.

Did you assign the key? It's in MISC and it's called Triples/Tires.

Ooops ..... i accidentely looked at the wrong numbers. I'm using 369.09.

 

Let us know how you go with the driver update, I'm still using 344.11 seems as tho it was the only stable one for my GTX980, certainly was the fastest http://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/1387712
