Problem with this game is there's far too many cars and not near enough tracks (official content or equivalent).
League I run in struggled to find 6 tracks suitable for multiclass racing that can handle more than 30 cars.

Unfortunately, I don't think NOLA will be a very thrilling venue but, yay, we're getting yet another Corvette. :/

It sounds like you are talking about AC instead of rf2 :) there are far more tracks here. but yes a couple more first pa tracks would do the trick.

Sure, but as you alread know (hence why I ask myself why I need to tell it again :p) the performance benefits from DX11 are important to add new features like this. :)

Maybe I needed to explain, proper VR would not be possible without DX11, hence "possible" performance.

Awesome update, especially for us Stockcar users. We needed some issues address to have some serious stockcar racing events.

    Very please, so far.

"Removed the option to disable HDR."

Is there a way to turn HDR off?

Unless the game costs the same as life did in 2012. Perhaps those with 1 year will pay the balance and get life ? Seems like the logical solution

He meant that there may be, at some future date, a sale with a reduced price for the purchase of rF2. If the logic used to justify refunds for lifetime subscribers was used, ANYONE who had a receipt for the full price from any point in the past, would also be expecting to see a refund for the difference between the original and sale prices.
I bought a can of beans at the store last week for 97¢, this week the same store sold them on sale for 85¢. Should I be able to get a 12¢ refund?

It means you can't turn it off. The game is not supposed to be run with HDR off. Many people switched HDR off in night endurance racing, which gained them an unfair advantage as the track became less dark.

Ok, I'll ask this then. Why can't you see if the headlights are on with HDR on?

Believe me, I love the way RF2 looks with HDR on. It would be nice if there was a pilot light on the dash somewhere when the headlights are on.

Some pieces of content are truly fantastic so it would be much better to update (read historic cars) or fix (formula2) them instead of releasing another 'Vette that can't run against anything.

A strong support to modders would also be really beneficial to the product. Just by fixing the physics of Enduracers and Flat six mods we could gain several interesting cars at the moment simply awful in terms of dynamics.

Things take time. I'd love to see better modding support (better ways to do things, better gjed etc..) and documentation but at the same time I understand that it doesn't make sense to release documentation and tool updates now if they are going to upgrade them to something different during the next year. At which point 397 would need to redo all the work again.

I really hope the modding support focus moves away from rf1 experts and conversions to new modders though. With this I mean that rf2 modding should be possible for people who are not experienced rf1 modders. With good documentation (which is almost non-existent now), better tools (gjed is not good enough) and improvements for the game to make it better for modding (adding skins to a car should not require any repacking of files for example + online issues with skins) could really give a lot of momentum for rf2.

Modding is a slow process though. If 397 released the best modding tools and documentation now the results would be seen only at 6 months earliest. So while things like dx11 are instant improvements better modding support will take time to prove its worth simply because creating content takes time. So in that respect I'd love to see better modding support as early as possible.
