Thanks for the great program Nibo.
Regarding the Championship Points System, is it possible for you to enable separate points allocated for "Points for DNS" and "Points for DNF"?

Not at the moment, maybe sometime in the future. To much changes will be required around "All drivers (even DNF, DNS) receive no less then this points" code.

Maybe instead you can use "All drivers (even DNF, DNS) receive no less then this points" for DNFs, and then correct DNS results points manually.

Thank you, Nibo for develping this great tool.

BTW I got an issue with exporting report for one of my logs.

Maybe It occurs from some strange situation like my case.

    Here is my situation,
One of the drivers hadn't run in qualify session, but He got the 1st place for the race.

Then I could not export this race to file through rf2la,
and I got an error like this:

I've attached my log file which causes this error.
If It's possible, Could you look into this?

    Thanks in advance.
    Jason.

Oh I found the file causing error.

There was 2 practice sessions because of restart weekend I think.

    Here is the zip file.

I've just deleted the unwanted session logs, then It works fine.

I think it's an user fault.
    So sorry to bother you
and thank you very much for your support and reply.

Now I see an error. Yes, you can get rid of it by removing unnecessary earlier logs. But there should not be an error even with them, so I`ll investigate anyway. Thanks for reporting.

I'm having a problem with linking a Race log to a Qualifying log. Error details are ...

    upload_2016-12-13_17-54-18.png

    upload_2016-12-13_17-54-39.png

I have these as part of a Championship and though the results & points allocated seem fine, the Imola Race has no qualifying details.

    Hi Nibo,

Thanks for coming back on this - I had another look at the xml files, comparing the errant one with some others that worked as expected. I noticed the log with an issue had an AI car that had run an extra qualifying lap, 13 instead of 12. I amended the log to remove the extra lap and set the lap count for this driver to 12 and the log loaded fine and linked to the race log.

I've been running offline and knowing about this bug where occasionally an AI would run too many qualy laps, I've set without DQ on qualifying in game rather than reduce qualy time to prevent this. This seems to present a problem however for R2LA.

By the way, kudos for producing this tool. As has been mentioned here by many others, this is a game changer and has revitalised rFactor2 for me. Really enjoying the easy access to information the game produces but doesn't fully utilise.

Marteau, by default r2la loads web2py\applications\r2ladedi\static\images\nasty_fabric.png as background image. You can substitute this file with your own png image. Name it nasty_fabric.png and overwrite default image file. If some users will still get old background, they will need to restart their browser or press CTRL+F5 on r2la page or clear their browser cache to see new image.

fluffert, good that you found that. I guess the problem for r2la was "no DQ" rule and that extra lap, maybe there were blank fields for that lap, in Lap tag for example.

As usual, I`m glad that r2la can be useful for you.
