What a great little car, it isn't the most difficult to keep on track, and it produced some very competitive racing allready on your server :) It's hard to break away from a group of pretty matched racers and I love it!

Loving the car so far, except for two things:
    1. gear ratios are set up so that you can safely run the infield of Indianapolis 2014 in first gear
    2. middle tire temperatures are too hot. -3.5 camber should be enough to have inside temp bigger than middle, am I correct?
Maybe the real car is like that, but I'm asking if everything's fine.

Nope, I as a standalone player had to get it sent by a steam player. But it worked fine then. Great car!
Amazing to drive, but god I hate Bathurst (yes I am talking about the server ;) ). Well, I hope the server stays as populated as it was today, those were amazing races! Shame that my connection died early in the first of two races that I took part in.

Does anyone from Studio 397 mind if I post a link to the mod here? It's really helpful for the standalone players

    Thanks.

Out of curiosity: Steam owners not only have to have all the content installed, they also have to have it doubled in form of packages as well so steam can check if these are up to date?

Yes, please. I think it might be ok to allow low TC and ABS. But it's a bit annoying when you drive without helps and others drive the car like a train ;)

Not necessary to have stuff in packages folder when it is is in the workshop/content folder (where I grabbed this and uploaded to DB).

But I've had incidents where workshop items with updates didn't work out well when trying to join a server that had rfcmp's in packages folder. It is a nice option to have the "old-fashioned" packages-folder-method.

Another folder? Interesting. That is a lot of diskspace. Not sure if I can keep rf2 when I have to migrate to steam... what a bummer.

So what diskspace is required for a stock rf2 steam installation?

I like the car very much. And the server was a good idea. Had a nice race with some well known members around here :D

Thanks studio-397 for this high quality content:)

@Bjørn, my guess is new or updated content coming after next build (steam only) won't run on the older stand alone builds anymore. But as said i'm just guessing and only studio-397 can answer.

I just watched a short clip of a Mclaren V8 Can Am car. They blipped on the downshifts but took plenty of time to rev the motor and ease the clutch out. Took 3 or 4 seconds to complete the downshift. I think folks who grew up listening to F1 downshifts that last micro-seconds may be rushing the procedure. (I know I am)

You misunderstood. Diskspace is the same. What you have of subscribed workshop items will be in a folder called Steamlib/workshop/contents

You're a baffoon if you have the same rfcmp's in both Steamlib/workshop/contents AND Steamlib/rFactor2/Packages. Then you have duplicates - for no reason.

Ok. Last question. Can you delete/move the content from the Workshop folder to get back the diskspace? Because you can with the Packages folder. Once installed all my packages go to an slower HDD for backup. Is this still possible?

Thx in advance and sry for hijacking the thread of what seems to be a great car. Still have to try it.
