Who knows what goes in a devs head. Just check how long Simbin has this code and see how much stuff is missing in RaceRoom

As it stands it's impossible to find out which servers actually have players on it. Very frustrating to load a track... just to find AI on it.
Can that be corrected so we see actual player count? May be something 0+5Ai, 5+5Ai or just 5+5 or just provide an extra column in that UI.

Would like a tool like rF2 LA developed by S397 but more complete and with more options like make it possible to edit results in case server go crazy in a finish under yellow or make it possible to count the result from a certain lap instead of the last one (if this issue happens)
Make it in a way the worst result won't be dropped by amount of points it will be dropped by position, and make it the race finish position won't change when you edid the points manually.
Example: In rF2 LA someone finish P8 and gets 50 points, guy get a 10 point penalty for accident, will have 40 points. Next race he finish P9 and get 45 points. The program drops the P8, not the P9.
Also an option for the class points to be taken from overall points rather than only in-class. So we can have for example, a GT3 league with Gold, Silver and Bronze trophy (kinda like FIA classification) with points from overall position if we want to so you don't split the on track action in 3 classes since every position matters ;)

The minimalistic UI is awful for car setups as everything's too small and seem all over the place. The current default UI is basically perfect IMO, and things are very easy to find.

So please don't go and screw it up by going the 'minimalistic' route.

    Hi,
When I try to make a good set-up, to have the name of the set-up on the screen, for example; mix61, mix61+1 etc....

Already did and he said he did not want this changed as it is complicated. The program is great but these changes would make it perfect.

I want to see a good damage system, better sound, better far shadows, better lightning and more eye-candy features like dust, fog, crowd enviroment, animated pitcrew, marbles, and better rain drops.

It would be great to have more online players using an online system with scheduled official races like iRacing does

I have no problem with that, I just want to have more immersion and these things can bring more players to rF2. IMHO, there is no point having the best simulator with empty servers.

I wish they'd add an option for more real stuff like limited amount of tires for the weekend (online too), of course most leagues will run practice + qualify that takes about 1 hour, but you know we could limit it to 3 sets or something like that. And also damage like if you crash in practice your car will be fully repaired but depending on the crash you are out for the rest of practice/qualify session :p

I use Voice Attack for a number of simple, race related tasks, but I have not yet found a way to change pit stop strategies to meet the dynamic nature of changing weather and maintenance requirements. As it is I must bring up the menu (button box) and find the correct page, select wet tires, adjust fuel requirements, while driving at night in the rain during a compressed 24hr scenario at Le Mans all the while defending my position... you get the idea. This title does all of these things wonderfully, but is there a better way to allow the driver to communicate current needs/requirements. Perhaps previously planed pit stops could be inserted in the menu, prior to the race allowing the driver to select the desired pit stratagem (number 1 or 3 or 4) with a simple click or in my case a voice command. I hope someone has a way to work with the current architecture or perhaps this could be considered in the future by the developers... I would like to see some discussion about this subject so that a best possible solution might be achieved. Thanks in advance for ideas and responses. As always, I consider rF2 to be the best if not the only economical racing simulator on the market... Thanks developers!

Regarding sound. I would like the sound engine make use of the "default communication" device for radio traffic, i.e. spotter This helps users having devices that can differentiate, and have separate volumes, for game audio and voice audio, e.g. Astro.
