hi, to test it and say hello Looks like it work lol Congrats to the migration process and good luck with this so promising sim (the best for me )
Thanks. Activating this option helped a lot. However, it behaves different to what it sugggests since it is affecting to the visibility of threads where I have not replied or that I have not created. With it activated all the posts seem to appear now in the new posts after my last visit. The order of threads with unread posts but no updates after last visit correct now. With the option deactivated only a few threads appeared as new after my last visit and the remaining appear with the wrong chronological order. I would understand that something seems to work unexpectedly when the commented preference is deactivated. I upload a couple of screenshots to show what I see with the option activated and deactivated. Deactivated Activated
I have to add to the above that just after posting previous post I checked in the New Posts shortcut with the commented option activated and I couldn't see my post in the list. As I suggested in my original post, an option to simply show last posts, with unread posts highlights in bold would be highly appreciated. The possibility to hide read items within it would be a plus, avoiding an additional shortcut only for unread items. Tapatalk has both options separated but due to web format it wouldn't be as easy to swap bewteen both as it is with Tapatalk. It is quite typical to have to add something in a thread where you just posted. It took me a while to find this post to add this info. I didn't know where it was located in the forum since I first came in by visiting the thread from new posts section. I hope the need of a SIMPLE latest posts shortcut is better understood after this explanation. Edit: I found by logging out that there is a Recent Posts shortcut available when you log out which works as I want. It is also accesible from the new posts section but not from the menu I was using where only new posts was available apart from other forum options. Maybe it could be added there as well.
I've tried multiple times to edit a thread Title with no success, if you click on the title to highlight/edit it just opens the thread again..I'm sure moderators can do it but regular users don't seem to have this option enabled..
Hey, liking the new forum. I'm pretty used to the Xen Foro forums through RD and R3E so I think it's a good move from my point of view.
Learning curve for all of us I'm also very used to VB, but I really love Xenforo now, a lot of great features.
@Christopher Elliott Having now added you (and others) to my Follows List I'm not seeing any notification of when you post, is this something that the new forum software can do? The only way at the moment seems to be via the "Your News Feed" link which is fine but a Notification (in Alerts, top right) would be cool if possible, thanks
That's what following is. You could see it as the "Staf Post" thingy on the ISI forum. But now you can add people you want.
