Hi guys, I have tried many different materials but I'm not able to have a good looking wheel tire, it looks always as 'matte' paint, any suggestion? Should look like this: http://www.acisportitalia.it/public/2016%2Fimg%2FF4%2FAdria%2Fbaiz_35.jpg Thanks!
Basicly you want a cube reflection shader. Try a shader that adds alpha reflections from T1. The reflections are controlled with the alpha layer from your rims.dds template. (Same as car paint.) BTW: give your rims material "WCRIMS" as material name.
thanks a lot Gijs, tried the shader and it now looks a lot better, still need to fine tuning the alpha channel but the result is promising
It's not a new shader. It's the shader to apply to the tire "rubber". It's defromable so the tire takes the shape of the tire.tgm and flexes.
In 3DSimED use "Deformable tyre", and two different materials for the sidewall and tread. Add more specular to the sidewall to give it more of a shine, and less on the tread so it has a matte appearance.
