Hi I have just built an OSW Sim wheel setup using the IONI driver and Mige 130st 10010 Motor I need an RFactor2 controller.json/MMO's setup that works!! has anybody had any success? every setup I try pulls you into corners it's as if that parameter needs reversing
Look for this line in your controller.json: "Steering effects strength":-10000 Default is at 10000, if you want to revert FFB, add a minus sign (-) like above.
Thanks that fixed that problem All I have to figure out now is how to remove the small hump around the wheel centre point, It is there for about 4 deg where the wheel drops of centre then its fine If I had to visualise it it would look something like this (I only had paint handy) View attachment 19937
I would start of by deleting the controller file then restart rFactor to create a new one, that way your starting of fresh, I've never had anything like what you're describing with my IONI OSW so something definitely not right.
Is it possible to start a new topic with the means of keeping track of all settings for IONI based OSW projects? I think many would benefit to have some form of a documented, tested, point to start from
Thanks I did what you suggested its the same, do you have your JSON file so I could take a look, I'm using the SimuCUBE Prototype it may be something to do with that
Probably is SimuCUBE mode I tried all the new settings with the updated IONI firmware and couldn't find anything I liked so I reverted back to my old settings. SimuCUBE mode definitely changed the feel around the center I think it's iRacing based like most things in the OSW world
How do you have the encoder set in Granity and MMOs ? Don't know how that happened cant delete the post
Same as my setup, I have tried all the settings I can think of but the centering problem still remains
Can you use the window snipping tool and give us a look at your setting in Mmos and Granity, it's a shame you can't get it working right because the OSW is superb in rFactor 2 even better than my AccuForce wheel, anyway here's mine for the flat6 mod and FFB smoothing 3 inside rFactor. What are you driving with a steering lock of 180? go-kart,you can go as high as 3300Hz Torque bandwidth limit, anyway glad you got it sorted.
