Any of you kind people know how to add track in DEV MODE?
All i could find on them internets, is that i need to Put the main files in a folder named like the track, then gmt files in maps or mesh, and textures to textures. I tried with more tracks, no joy. Either skyboxi.gmt not loading or some other gmt not loading.

Have a look in the track *.scn file and check the "SearchPath" section.

Recreate that folder structure... extract and put all main files in the root folder of track and all the rest in the respective folders.

Oh yeah, but if you want to test files you have to unpack all the files as I said above/

    Install this tool:
    http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/18947-MAS-file-extractor-rfcmp-Installer-URL-handler

    How to install:
Drop a copy of this file into <Core>\Core. On a default install this folder would be C:\Program Files (x86)\rFactor2\Core. Once you copy Extract.exe into that folder you simply double click on it and it will add some registry entries and then say "Setup complete". After that you will be able to double click on rfcmp and mas files and also right click on rfcmp and mas files to see the context menus.

    Anyways, here it is:
    https://dl.dropbox.com/s/h79psf5o3rg1y7e/Extract.exe

    After install
    - right-click on a rF2 package from any location on your PC.
    - click on install to Dev mode
    - Select your Dev mod folder

and done it's in your dev mode folder. But you'll need to check the .scn file Search path...

Indeed, But if you want to edit things you'll need to unpack all the .mas files and put the files in a folder structure. This tool does it automaticly.

If you just needed a track in dev mode to test your cars, you don't need to unpack all the .mas files form the track ofcourse. :) Like you said: just copy past the folders and done.
