Track is very interesting to drive, and very good looking. May be the long layout could have a longer straight so that F1s and LMPs could fully stretch their legs? Cheers.
I know that serious gamers, and especially us simmers, are nuts but to see a 'What's going on, ISI?' post about the structural integrity of virtual buildings. Tim, is that you with a fake account having a laugh? Must be. Good one mate. Early April fool. Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
Re-living the Short Circuit in medium paced cars is an absolute joy, the sweeping curves and that tricky left-hander are soooo much fun. I'm having a blast rekindling the love for this classic track, thanks again Track Team
You want to go throw the same logic at Kunos please ? Go check out the large billboards at Italy and their construction in rF2 and AC. You sure that is wood ? I certainly am not. I was a concrete leading hand and to me it looks like the imprint left from planks after stripping away form-work. On small less expensive jobs, old days planking was used to form-up Wood is brown , not grey. Wood plank formwork.............. Looks the same to me ? That is my explanation and I sticking to it. P.S. On the 5 foot concrete I have seen many structures over the years with features just as odd. WHINGE................ Anyway even for me I find the fine knit picking on buildings ridiculous. This is a bloody sim, not some guided tour of historical artifacts. At least with ISI you can free roam this stuff. In all other sims you are stuck between 2 magical invisible boundaries ! lol
It's not wood...it's concrete. Let's people believe it's foam, wood, sand, paper, cardboard, mud, chocolate... just please, don't feed that nonsense. We do not care, do you?
Who are you talking to T , not me I hope. So I am right it is the imprint in concrete of wood planking used as form work. .............and Guiller is wrong. Can't enlighten people to building practices over the decades now ? Anyways, I thought my comment about free-roam is the most important thing on the entire subject. lol
Toban is a really bad ass track One of the best. I just wish it was a little bit wider. I am all in favour of fictional tracks, it don't make no difference to me.
Toban alone should give people a lot of time to deal with all the configurations, and with racing opportunities with different kind of cars. I know this won't stop people asking for new content, but really, the track is amazing, entertaining, fps friendly, and finding the fastest way along it is not cakewalk.
? Most all ISI are great for sprint races ? I think dodging slightly erratic Ai is good practice anyways. p Problem with a lot tracks including Toban is Ai slowing for other cars leaving the pits. San Paulo the 74 almost come to a complete stop when you pit out next to them. Same at Monte Carlo, Belgium Longford and others I cant recall off hand. So it sort of defeats the purpose of longer races.
You know all the concrete forming the buildings at Indy has wood texture from the framing and mould process? That must mean it's wood.
If any seem to have poor AI, let them qualify first. They CAN get bound by a mixed grid and take a little too long to straighten out. Qualifying helps to get the faster guys at the pointy end.
Yeah pretty much a worldwide standard, but in this specific case it's not even a form print on concretes, it's just an old and crackled piece of bare concrete ceiling. That's a sample; View attachment 19693
