Every time I log into the game I spend 20 minutes trying to find the track that's being used (cause there's only one server with people in it). By the time I find the track, since the game can't seem to find it everyone's gone. Can we somehow make this easier?

You can try this one here:
    http://servers.proracing.club/

That a web front end for rf2 servers with some good filter functions.
In the top right corner you find

Auto Mod Installer & Launcher v.1.1.0.0

This is a small windows tool to start rf2 with the server connection parameter.
Due an issue in the current rf2 release not all servers are listened with the correct amount of players.
But this will be fixed soon by ISI (I hope).

I hope that the rf2 multiplayer front end will have also better search / filter functions ;)

Hmmm, tons of servers. The only two with one person each in them are using build 1046, which isn't out yet. Dozens with Build 1036 have no one in them.

The issue with Non-Steam and Steam is deceiving, some servers aren't empty.
