I'm having the same problem. :(

Even if I follow the line the AI take, I get a short cut penalty. Not sure if this is meant to be a chicaneor not though. I notice there is a painted line on the track, but even driving around this, I still get a penalty. I wonder if the chicane is tighter than it appears. There seems to be a very subtle difference in the track texture (2nd pic, shows it quite clearly). If this is the case then the AI need to be made to follow that and I think it would help if some cones, or kerbs were used to make it clearer what the track limits are at this point.

The line the AI takes, seemingly with no penalty.

That niggle aside, this is a great track, I love it! Many thanks Mr Mabe and ISI. :)

    Cheers

How was it not caught during testing? WAS there any testing? Doesn't seem like it, as a cut-track penalty is pretty darn hard to "overlook"..

Is used to be a chicane, There was a curb there in years past. You should get no penalty there.

As any mature individual would surely appreciate, things get missed in testing. After they've appreciated it, they could probably communicate and report it.

Thankfully they already had, before you posted.

Your post tone is getting pretty annoying, by the way.

 The same way any bug or issue gets past testing in any other program or indeed industry...feel free to look at other software titles and show me ones releasing without any bugs at all.

How was that engine I was working on fitted with an incorrect FCU and sent flying for years? Human factors, same as so many mishaps and disasters (seeing as it seems like a disaster for you).
How the group/company respond to it is what is really telling.

This would more relate to the wrong wing being installed on the airplane, the airplane crashing and creating a huge fireball, and that getting past testing. All I'm saying is that it's not a small overlook-able issue, it comes up in big letters "CUT TRACK: LAP WILL NOT COUNT" how is that missed? Over and over as there are no doubt hundreds of laps run in testing? Not saying that people don't make mistakes.

You don't know me, and you have no idea what goes through my head. It's far from a "world ending disaster". Believe me, I've been through far worse than a freaking bug in a video game. As entertaining as this may be to you, remember that even "retards" have feelings...

I'm not saying that this is or isn't what happened, but it's conceivable that it may have been introduced (accidentally), in the later stages of testing, it's possible testers had disabled black flags, or maybe the testers just had one too many beers. Whatever the reason, it happened. Again, it's unfortunate, sometimes obvious things make it through, but it's been rectified by the AIW creator... Just disable black flags until the next one is made available.
