Hi guys I bought (a deal) a Asus 21: 9 pb298q, I saw that in the setup menu of the graphics resolution of 2560x1080 is supported, but then when I go into the game I remain two edges blacks on either side of the screen. Does anyone have any ideas?
You're probably right but my monitor has a 21: 9 landscape, with resolution 2560x1080. I saw the video on youtube of people with this type of monitor that can play full-screen without black bars side, I want to understand how they did it. http://www.amazon.it/ASUS-PB298Q-risoluzione-Widescreen-Retroilluminazione/dp/B00EKJHG54
Lol, 2560x1080 is clearly NOT 16:9 For the UI, I guess the game is not stretching the UI, so it Pillarboxed it, but in game it can render all the resolution.
Ah, ok,- lol -- sorry! Was confused because I do 2560x1440 (what is 16:9). Quick math isn´t my strong side I´ll better be quiet for hardware things now...sorry again
Open up the config.ini for single player build or moddev and look for the following(depending on which one you want) WidescreenUI=1 WidescreenUIWidth=xxxx WidescreenHUD=1 Make sure the xxxx part is 2560 and the other parts are '1', then save out. You can also do this ingame, in the Options/Video Res section, make sure resolution is 2560x1080, Widescreen Hud is ticked and Stretch Ui is also enabled, then below in 'Wide Screen Width' change to 2560, but it is painfully slow to increase the value there. I run 3440x1440 resolution and both Game and Ui is full screen for me.
2560 120Hz+ GTX980Ti .....................gawd slap me silly, that must look nice with rF2. From everything I have tried with DSR mode rF2 seems to improve the most ? Sure I have a GTX970-G1 but DSR @ basic 60Hz .......................it just ain't the same thing. hehehe
